We had a great time. Sandy checked us in when we arrived. It was lovely and clean, safe and quiet. Close proximity to Pinel Island, which is a fabulous day out. Close enough to super U and restaurants in the area. Would need to rent a car. Overall a fabulous weekend.

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Villa Jwi Lavi, Coco suite, from 4/27 to 5/3. The host, Cyril, was welcoming and attentive to our requests and questions, always responding quickly. He kindly loaned us a beach umbrella for our daily trips. The balcony has incredible views across the ocean to St. Barts, Orient Beach, and the lovely rooftops of Cul de Sac and surrounding mountains. This is a good location for hikers, situated above the Rue de Grande Caye with a short walk to the dramatic Grande Cayes Reserve and the pretty hillside overlooking Pinel Island. Also, a short daily walk to see the lovely donkeys! This is an ideal location with a short drive to Orient Beach, Grand Case and the Hope Estate shops & restaurants. Our room was very clean, modern and simply furnished, with a small fridge and kettle for tea/coffee. A breakfast was served daily with freshly baked baguette and croissants, fresh juice, selection of fruits, tea/coffee/water. The pool is impeccably clean, warm, peaceful and inviting. With only 5 suites in the building we often had it to ourselves. Although there was some construction taking place adjacent to our hotel the activities weren't noisy or intrusive - its just a positive sign of the resurgence of this beautiful area.

A home away from home
Jwi Lavi was perfect for the two of us for our recent two weeks on St. Martin. It is like new and extremely clean, with large well-appointed rooms, a beautiful pool, croissants baked by Cyril every morning, super easy parking and a beautiful view of Pinel, Orient Bay, and St. Bart’s in the distance. All in a very safe, quiet residential neighborhood, in a new development that is gated on nights and weekends. It is located halfway between Grand Case and Orient, and just minutes from the Super U and ATMs at Hope Estate. Cyril and Marie-Julie were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed meeting the other guests. We will definitely be staying there again, and I highly recommend!

It is a lovely boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms. The owners were there to greet me upon check-in as at the time there was no formal staff. The area is a bit desolate so you will definitely need a car but everything you'd need is only a mile or two away. I would definitely recommend. Also, there's a very steep road (Rue de l'anse Marcel) that leads to a "secret" bay. Go to Ristorante Del Arti. You won't regret it.

Very nice friendly property owner/manager. Very communicative and delicious breakfast.. I had food poisoning from eating at a restaurant but nothing to do with the property owner, he was understanding and accommodating. Lovely place to stay.. I would recommend fly net over the bed and usb outlet plugs. But overall pleasant..

My stay here was absolutely amazing. There were two of us the weekend before Thanksgiving and there was only one other couple there! The rooms are spacious, clean, and the view on the bay is gorgeous to wake up to and watch sunsets. Cyril was incredibly friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and beaches to go to, and was a great host overall. He makes fresh croissants, baguette, and a fruit bowl for breakfast with great local jams. The stay had a private villa feel with amenities and services you receive in a larger hotel. I highly recommend this for any type of vacation -- family, couple, single and a relaxing or adventurous one. When I go back to St. Martin I will definitely be staying here again.

Beautiful place, super clean and super new, with all the amenities available. We enjoyed the relaxed pace of bed and breakfast in a family business environment, without sacrificing the high end service. The big balcony view is amazing.

Villa Jwi Lavi was a very convenient location for what we wanted to do in St. Martin. Cyril was friendly, kind, and helpful in recommendations for our short stay- we did not have the opportunity to meet Marie-Julie. The property is well-appointed with thoughtful touches. The property is very clean and newly built with 5 units, 3 with excellent ocean views to St. Barts. The pool is heated. The owner/manager lives upstairs and is very attentive. The best aspect is the location, aside from having great views, is only 2 minutes from the boat or kayak rental to Pinel island or a large supermarket and shopping area, 3 minutes from Grand Case airport, 5 minutes from beautiful Orient Bay beach, and 5 minutes from Grand Case and it’s great restaurants. It’s highly recommended.

The perfect place on St Martin
A great host in Cyril and Marie-Julie. They make sure that everything is perfect all around and give great insight into local things to do. A short drive to great attractions like Orient Bay and Grand Case. A very quiet and relaxing environment at Villa Jwi Lavi. A perfect location for relaxing experience. Definitely going to be a place stay while visiting St Martin.

The property is new construction and very lovely. The location is very good...close to everything we like to do. The only downside is that you cannot walk to the beach from the property. It's a quick drive...but not a stroll.

We really liked our stay at this property. The room was very clean and the staff very friendly. We had a bit of difficulty driving to the property the first time as the directions did not show in the GPS. Fortunately we called the owner and were able to find the way to the hotel.

Highly, highly recommended for a warm and casual stay on St Martin. We stumbled on Villa Jwi Lavi through Travelocity search alone and totally loved it. The room we had was perfect - a lovely balcony looking out to the southeast over Baie du Cul-de-Sac up on the northeast side of the island. The property is about 1/4 mile from the bay. The room was every bit as nice as the photos on the web site. But the best part is the hosts - as gracious as two people could be. They were always willing to engage and help us out with advice (it was our first trip to St. Martin) and the advice was flawless. My wife and I also greatly enjoyed interacting with the children - but note that they are by nature unobtrusive and it was only because we very much wanted to engage with them that this happened. They truly brightened our time at the villa. The breakfast was classical European (not American) with croissant, bread, jam, coffee/tea, and juice. Like so many places on St. Martin (in contrast to many other caribbean islands) the bread was of high quality. They also provided us with flawless recommendations on restaurants and beaches to travel to - our favorite was just over the hill to the northwest, Anse Marcel.

Wonderful stay in St. Martin
My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Jwi Lavi in French Cul-de-Sac. Cyril was a great host, providing us with a nice breakfast in the morning and refreshments upon our arrival, he even gave us a ride to Grand Case on our first night for dinner. Close to Pinel Island and Orient Bay. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location on the island. Half way between Orient Beach and the town of Grand Case which is still the dining mecca of the Caribbean. Nice heated pool and an awesome view of St. Barts. Room was large with great glass sliders to a nice deck. Hosts were very accommodating. We will definitely return to this villa.

Cozy, clean, convinient you definitely need a car to get around the island but the location is perfect close to the best beaches & restaurants family owned business sweetest and most welcoming staff we stayed 5 days with my 9 month old baby and they made this trip so easy for us will come back again, theres a great pool as if everything isn’t already perfect can’t wait to come back to the island & stay here again :)
