“John’s charming cottage was absolutely the perfect place to unwind! We loved sitting on the back porch and watching the goats and horses play. It is an oasis, yet so convenient to the airport, and anything you need is within a 2 mile radius. The eggs from the hens were delicious (as was the honey from the farm bees). John is a wonderful host. Highly recommend. ”

“Was in Dallas for work so just needed a place to sleep and this listing is excellent for that. Late hours were quiet, room was cool, and bed was relatively comfortable (a little soft for me but it's personal preference). Two things that would have made it better for me: 1, the air freshener is quite strong, which is understandable why they have it, but I had a slight headache from it. 2, there were bugs from the outside constantly coming in. I can tell the owners are trying to deal with it……

“Was just what we needed. Didn’t spend a lot of time there except to sleep. It was a very cute guest home. Only complaint would be the parking/driveway. We were in a fairly large vehicle, and was a little difficult to maneuver out with the gate sticking out a bit. Other than that, would highly recommend. Would not hesitate to stay there again if need be. ”

Our family of eight greatly appreciated the comfortable accommodations, particularly the variety of sleeping options that allowed everyone to have their own space. This was especially beneficial during our family trip. During our stay, there was a brief power outage in the area; Christina responded promptly and kept us informed until power was restored.
