Planning our next visit already!!
What a phenomenal weekend! The property is amazing! The host was great! We needed to be close to Hanging Rock to drop off son,an avid hiker, off for a month long adventure and we found this place! Our pup loved the freedom to roam and explore that she could never enjoy at home! We loved the serenity and the feeling of being surrounded by nature's beauty! So close to home for us, we are already figuring out when we can come again, just to decompress!!

Beautiful farm house!
An idyllic, tucked away but minutes from Hanging Rocks (which was our destination) house which was amazing. The love that Ronda has for this place is obvious when you pull in the private drive.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!
If I could book this once a month every month, I would! What a serene, wonderful stay. Barn kitties, Mr. Rooster and Mrs. Chicken, a garden, hiking trails, and beautiful scenery. Ms. Ronda is the perfect hostess/caretaker. The house is rustic, restful, and just perfect for an "unplug from everything" weekend. The stars at night are worth it all! <3 <3. Thank you, Ronda!!

Comfy and Rustic
Rustic, eclectic and comfortable old farm house/cabin was very cozy. We loved the options for a fire pit, and the surrounding landscapes were beautiful. I may have to return here in the fall for more natural beauty. The property manager was friendly and accommodating. The inside was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Thank you Ronda!

Ronda's Such a Great Host!
My wife and I were looking for somewhere secluded to go for the holiday weekend away from the city to take our dog and are very happy to have found Ronda's place. She was such a great host and communicator. There was some confusion with our payment with Vrbo but she made sure everything was squared away. Even before our trip she messaged us to make sure we brought everything we needed including bug spray (do recommend if you will walk around the woods) and she even waited for us to arrive to make sure we didnt get lost. She also still gave us plenty of space to enjoy our weekend. The property is huge. Plenty of firewood to build a fire in the fire pit, a large garden she let us pick herbs from to use for our meals and chickens you can feed. The deck along the creek is also a beautiful place to hang out. If you're looking to be somewhere quiet away from the hustle and bustle of city living definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway
If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place..Rhonda was an exceptional host she was there if needed ,just a text or phone call away ..When we arrived Rhonda had fresh eggs from the hen house and sourdough bread she had baked for our arrival..My wife and I spent an hour or so with Rhonda as she gave us a tour of the property and we talked about some of the history of the area .It felt as if we were visiting a family member. We were in town for a 3 day race event and can’t wait to come back and just enjoy the stay .So basically if you want to get away and enjoy a piece of country heaven this is the place for you ,it surely was for us .

Great Escape in the Country
We rented the Stokes County residence as it was just a few miles from by brother and sister-in-law. The owner, Rhonda, was very easy to work with. We did not meet in person but she checked up on us regularly (but not too much either). The house and grounds matched the description in the listing and was marvelous. We enjoyed hiking the property, sitting around a fire, the rustic/country styling of the home, and overall it was a great place to relax. Everything was clean, working, and easy to use. We would absolutely rent this location again in the future.

Amazing experience
Ronda was so kind and accommodating. She communicated with us thoroughly prior to our visit and checked on us while we were there. She had sticky notes on some of the cabinets and things like that so we could find everything to cook with, etc. She let us pick some of her fresh cilantro out of her herb garden, and feed her chickens. It’s a perfect spot to stay if you’re planning on hiking, pilot mountain or hanging rock. we did both while we were there. The house was very cozy and brought back memories with some of the older items in it. The property is pet friendly, and our dog loved it out there too. She takes extra measures to include covers for the furniture for people that bring pets. I never would’ve guessed she’d ever allowed a pet in there; it was so clean. Everything was absolutely wonderful. We already plan on going back.

A comfortable country home, with wonderful back porch views. Cozy seating for reading, writing, movie watching. Cloud like beds where some serious napping was done. So convenient to Hanging Rock, a NC treasure. Ronda was a great hostess, helpful, easy to deal with. Will definitely return here soon. Highly recommended

Thank you .Ronda and Martha ..the beauty of best friends , for the meal after a long days work ..not knowing who I am..having a meal with me your table. Truly blessed. I will always remember how my soul and earths energy was all aligned to be there. Walking the mountain barefooted feeling and accepting the earths energy as well as mine . The laughs that we all had in just a few hours of chatting. Being there has placed and will forever be apart of me. Thank you for helping me cross the creek. (i was tightened a bit) I will remember you both for the rest of my life . Thank you both truly for blessing my life . Much Love
