“Easy walk to the beach and Asbury Park, lovely view of the lake. Comfortable mattress, good coffee, quiet, austere. We came to get some writing done and we were very happy at the Melrose. ”

“Great communication with the hosts. Room on the 1st floor was just right for 2 people. We were there for a week so having a mini fridge was helpful. The little lounge at the entrance had a coffeemaker, microwave and water/ice dispenser, which we and many guests used. Bathroom was small but not a big deal. Lots of parking outside the house. Overall a great stay - we will definitely be back.”

“A perfect spot for a romantic getaway! One block from the beach, walking distance to great spots in Asbury, perfect location for long walks on the boardwalk. The B&B was clean, offered great wifi, clean towels, coffee and a microwave, easy check in, and the host was prompt in their responses to inquiries. We had such a great time we asked to extend our stay and they were more than gracious to accommodate. Thank you Melrose! Well be back!”

“We stayed just one night for an early morning soccer tournament in the area. Ashley, the hostess of the Inn was amazing. Very nice, very knowledgeable and very approachable. The sleeping conditions fit my family and the easy close walk to the beautiful beach was perfect. We even had beach chairs available to use. I recommend!”
