“What an amazing hotel & room. This is one of our favorites of all time. We stayed for 3 nights Food: Every meal was fantastic as we ate breakfasts and dinners at the hotel. The fry jacks at breakfast were superb. The prices were reasonable for the meal we ate. The selection changed at each meal. Even our picky eater was very happy. Highly recommend the cheese tasting which you will need to reserve in advance. We lucked out and were able to join due to a cancellation. Staff: Very helpful……

“The resort itself is located about 30min away from the hustle and bustle of San Ignacio and its situated right along the Macal River which made for perfect water sounds in the mornings and at night. You’ll hear birds chirping, and it’s just so peaceful. The staff can organize rides for you to go anywhere you like, and the food at the restaurant is amazing! ”

“The hotel grounds are very beautiful. The walkways and bridges and trails are all very charming. The staff was very attentive. Dinner was good and the massages were wonderful. I would highly recommend. The only complaint is there is not air conditioning and it was quite hot”

“Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about……

“We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. We stayed in blue morpho which was close to the pool and bar. There was accessible parking. Staff was accompanying to all……

“I was blown away by how nice Table Rock Resort was when we arrived. We stayed in a riverside room and it was much nicer than I imagined based on the pictures online. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our rental car. The location is aout 15 minutes from downtown San Ignacio but feels very remote. We heard Howler monkeys on most nights and got to see a lot of hummingbirds and a toucan while eating breakfast. I highly recommend……
