“Staff are attentive and helpful. Property provides many amenities and options for touring around the San Ignatio area. If I find myself coming back to San Ignatio I would strongly consider staying at Mystic River again.”

“An amazing experience! Abdiel, Rita, Ragner, and so many others took such good care of us. Such genuine people at a beautiful resort. Food was great! If you are up early enough you will see a wide variety of birds at breakfast. We even saw a few howler moneys in the evening! We did the ATM tour and appreciated the deep compassion and respect our guide (Ben) had for the history of the archaeological site. We'll be back!”

“Our cottage was wonderful and the bed so comfy! The grounds were beautiful, we were taken away as soon as we arrived. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was a relief to have and so well maintained. And we loved the butterfly conservatory, we can't remember her name, sorry, but the girl that gave us the tour was so informative and easy to talk to. We will definately be back!”

“Gaia is a very beautiful place. The property is so serene and was very grounding. The nature and wildlife is amazing and they do an excellent job to keep guests comfortable even though you are nearly in the rainforest. Upon arrival, guests are greeted and escorted to their rooms. The onsite restaurant and staff were wonderful, and despite the current expansion happening on the grounds, we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay. “Mariposa Jungle Lodge is such an incredible place! Its located near towns and San Ignacio, along with the Pine Reserve. It was a great location to explore the Cayo area from. The staff were very kind, thoughtful, and helpful. Robelvi gave us great recommendations and helped us plan some really fun adventures to a butterfly sanctuary and local swimming spots and waterfalls.
