Jean (our host) was extremely amiable and a wonderful conversationalist. She accommodated our late arrival (sorry!) and showed us directly into a living room with a roaring fire. “This is an almost 300 year old home that feels like a grandmother’s hug. It’s rather out of the way, so make sure you check the map and driving times, but if you’re okay with the location, you should definitely stay here. The home has everything you’ll need, the beds are comfortable, there is plenty of hot water and wonderful water pressure in the shower, and the views from the windows are stunning.
