Room - overall, very good - a coupe of issues - but nothing major - just disappointing issues for a 4-star hotel. Bar food - not great - was not hot enough - felt very "rushed". Check-out - whilst not as bad as check-in - it was still not great. 1 big shock - hotel charges €15 for parking over-night. I find that unacceptable for a 4 star hotel that is effectively in the middle of a field. Overall feeling/comment on stay: It was abundantly clear from our stay that the hotel was being run as a conveyor belt hotel – i.e.: get them in, get them out and do the least amount as possible as we can – but still over-charge them for everything. Grant it – at the end of the day – it’s an “airport hotel” – and those sort of hotels have now made it very clear that service is going to be sub-standard. But my issue here was that it was a four star hotel – so immediately, and rightly, my expectations are set at four star level. But when all you experience is 3-star service – then it just ruins the stay. Would I recommend it – yes and no. If all you need is a 1 night base by the airport – then fine (provided the price is right) – but if you are looking to stay longer and are going away as a couple/romantic getaway – then avoid it – you’ll be bitterly disappointed."
