“Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.”

“Room had stains on the wall. Overall hotel need’s updating. Staff friendly but chef stressed as no one was checking on breakfast items that kept running out! Dinner was lovely though…. Sticky toffee pudding to die for. Stay was ok for the price and it was the second time we have stayed. So obviously not too bad.”

“Friendly and polite staff. Hotel located in town center with lots of shops and a variety of restaurants nearby. The on-site car park is first-come-first serve and becomes full early. Be prepared to park in off-site paid car park if you drive.”

“Large room and friendly lady checked us in. One thing to note is that dog friendly rooms don't have any dog items in them ( while not expected and we bring our own, most places provide dog bowls etc as a minimum). There were also dirty tissues left in the room on the floor when we checked in. The room had a fan which was appreciated as it was very, very warm. (We didn't visit during the heatwave). Bed was comfy enough, shower was a pipe lead from the bath taps with minimal pressure - does the……

“Nice hotel but it has no lift so you have to carry your luggage up loads of steep stairs !! The rooms are a bit small and the shower is not great. Breakfast is fairly good but can be very chaotic. If you are not lucky enough to get one of the 4 parking spaces out the front then you have to pay at the local car park 200 yards away. The hotel is in a nice location next to the river.”
