    "Well located."
Lobby was dingy and smelled strongly of smoking. There are 3 floors and no elevator. Thermostat was not adjustable ( ie. not working) and found room stifling. Even in -20 to -30 degree weather, kept the window open. House keeping was good.

"Okay, if you don't mind stepping around homeless "
Very cold climate; homeless downtown understandably take to salvaging warmth between the entry way doors in winter. (No fault of their own). If you don't mind that, the hotel was adequate and close to a lot of amenities.

    "Northern downtown hotel"
The room we had included a kitchenette with 4 stove top burners and microwave. Also included a sofa and comfortable chair. We found this perfect for our needs as we do not like eating in restaurants all the time as we were on a 3 month car trip. This is in a far north town. People must realize that you do not have all the comforts of the big city, but honestly it was fine. We even gad AC and believe it or not the temp in Inuvik for the 3 days we were there was 28C.
