Gripsholm Castle is a castle in Mariefred, Södermanland, Sweden. It is located by lake Mälaren in south central Sweden, in the municipality of Strängnäs, about 60 km west of Stockholm. "This is a truly unique property, suitable for sporty people (with the tennis, paddle tennis, football, basketball, gym facilities) but also for a relaxing holiday (with the BBQ and swimming pool). It is located in the heart of a forest so gives an authentic Swedish countryside experience but the interior has all the modern conveniences you could want. The owner lived nearby and was extremely helpful with anything that we needed. Overall a wonderful experience and one we would gladly repeat."
