"Its a wonderful classic colonel property. Its very old and the elevator is very charming. The grounds are wonderful and the pools are well maintained and served very well by the staff. The room we stayed in was very small. But the bed was spectacular as were the pillows and linens For the price I'd recommend a stay at the Hotel Caribe "

"I wish I could give this 1000 stars. The best resort, service & location I have ever encountered in all my travels . Sofitel baru ia a true oasis, you arrive by boat and there are no other resorts - nothing but jungle for miles. We felt like we were on White Lotus lol. The staff is unmatched , attentive & sweet. The resort itself never felt crowded , we would see maybe 4 others groups during the day . Always had loungers at beach or pool. The grounds & the room were to die for , the height of luxury . Would go again and again. "

"The view of the property so beautiful and the front desk very nice, so clean, everything close restaurant and shopping area and of course the beach at just 10 min walking but some of the kitchen staff special girls not nice make feel like they are paying for my food whispering with others when my family try to eat in peace."
