"The main hotel building is pretty good, cozy, recently renovated, however the annex building is far from that - it has a vibe of 1980s apartment complex, also not the cleanest. Views are lovely, as well as the area around. The breakfast is pretty bad - choices are limited, quantity is such that everything runs out quickly and, generally, the restaurant is far from great, offering canteen-quality food at Michelin-starred prices."

"Very well located in the lovely medieval city of Rheinfelden - a few minutes from the train station, the Rhein (as the name suggests!), shops, restaurants, cultural centres and very pretty walks.
The hotel itself is well run, friendly, comfortable and peaceful.

Quick to solve some issues we encountered (allergies for bedding), large rooms for a family of 5, nice playground for the kids and close to the highway to continue our trip. "The property and rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast is not available but a ahort ride into town iffers several options for eating. Keep in mind that there is not an elevator and it seems that the rooms are on higher levels. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is secure and a lovely place."

The staff could not have been more pleasant. They shifted our dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant and provided recommendations for other places. They provided coffee service on each floor.
The Hotel is older and could stand newer furnishings, but has character and the beds were comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but we were comfortable even in early August. "
