If you have a car, getting to the property is close to impossible. I drove around the property for about two hours to be able to get to the property. Parking is off the hotel. The guy at the parking lot offer me to fix my car bumper. Not sure how safe is the parking.

Overall found this hotel disappointing and frustrating. We stayed twice during our time in Mexico, checking in at 9pm and 6pm. Both times we were told our room wasn't ready. To not have the room ready at 9pm (6 hours after earliest check in time) was ridiculous and they gave us a room with 2 single beds rather than the king bed which we booked. The second time we arrived at 6pm and had to wait 30 minutes for the room to be ready. Again, this is unacceptable. The problem seems to be they haven't hired enough cleaning staff. Breakfast and location is very good but rooms are small with poor air con and showers. A shame this hotel didn't live up to expectations as we were expecting better.

Everything is just a bit off and cumulatively it makes for a bit of a frustrating stay. Other than the location, solid WiFi in the room, and a comfy bed, I wouldn’t stay here again. Information is out of date - it says MXD 750 for airport pick up but it’s actually MXD 900. Breakfast on the hotel app says it’s MXD 300 but it’s actually MXD 320. I ordered room service through the app and it never arrived (and I was desperate for a coffee as it was 4am local time and I needed to be up for calls back in UK) and when I called down an hour later it was all a bit disjointed (plus coffee tasted like it was just instant) - and I had to pay cash as they didn’t set me up for a room credit. The fridge was locked. You get one single Nespresso pod for a double room - what if there are two of you? (and my reservation was for two people so they thought there would be). The shower is super sensitive so it’s either hot or freezing all within a mm touch of the control. The toilet blocked up. As I say, all small first world problems in isolation, but overall just left me feeling irritated.

It was beautifully located, making it so easy to enjoy this part of the city. I also appreciated the coffee maker in my room, which was not typical for Mexican hotels! The staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfasts plentiful. I definitely would recommend this hotel to people visiting Mexico City.

At the front desk, Diego and Wendy were helpful. So was the bellhop. However, when I checked in, the staff at the time didn't know I had VIP status. Didn't even bother to ask. So, I got no benefits. Something wrong with Expedia for sure. The property is centrally located but the area around it smells bad and it reminded me of Manhattan in the mornings with the garbage smells. The Uber drivers had difficulty getting near the hotel because of how the roads are managed by the police closures. There is a small coffee machine in the room, but they provide only one pod per day for two people. Same with water. Provide only one small bottle of water for two people. Pretty stupid policy and it is enforced by the staff. The breakfast was very good but the area is understaffed. So, you cannot get hot coffee or other things that you need when you need them. The food during lunch and dinners in the hotel's restaurant was marginal. For Mexico City with its culinary delights, what the restaurant offered was below average.

The staff is friendly and helpful, if you are not a Spanish speaker most speak English. We love the location of this hotel. You can walk to many historic sites plus plenty of food and shopping locations.
