"El hotel es muy bonito y tiene estacionamiento (pagado extra) lo cual es conveniente. Puedes caminar a cualquier atracción turística de York. Nos hospedamos en una habitación del segundo piso muy linda y decidimos quedarnos una noche más y el staff nos ayudó a conservar la habitación haciendo la reserva vía expedía. "Beautiful hotel, clean and modern rooms. The spa is also gorgeous and the breakfast was fantastic but ..the principle in Leeds is better if you want dining, drinks or afternoon tea as it’s much more open plan, modern & beautiful in the shared areas. "

The room was spacious but showing some signs of the age and maintenance burden of such a large old , but nothing too obvious. The lift was a wonder - long waits at busy times, 2 people plus luggage and sounding like a dumb waiter. It was not clear why the HP sauce bottles at breakfast were only available on request - is there a shortage?"

Not right in the centre but only a very safe 6-8min walk from Minster, shops, restaurants etc… Breakfast was outstanding and good value at £16 for juice, coffee, pastry, yogurt and fruit and Eggs Benedict. Full English a bit more, lighter options from £11. Quite a lot of parking outside at £15 a night (good for York) but it’s very tight & I’d advise contacting them to reserve a place. I got the last one...
