“It was quiet, charming in a rustic way, Very clean, and with lots of attention from Kris, the on-site property manager. We were right on Lake Willoughby and it was absolutely gorgeous. There's not a lot to do in the area in the fall / winter, but we wanted just to go and relax, and we did that! It was perfect for us. We stayed in cabin number one, the original log cabin, and as one might expect it had a bit of a draft - but fresh air is a good thing when it's offset by a good heating system! The……

The cabin was just the right size for the two of us to spend quality time together while each taking our own space when we needed it. Our hosts were fantastic: welcoming and friendly. “Had everything we needed, quiet and scenic spot to explore the lake, state park, fall color, and northern lights. The porch was a great spot to watch ducks and loons in the morning and sit in the sun. The cabin was well stocked (kitchen items, linens, firewood, games) and was a great spot for a lazy day too. Megan was very responsive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!”

“Overall was good, recommend having a dish drainer & toaster and T-stat control for renters, it got cold at night when the temp went down and discovered the t-stat was programmed to 63 at night.”

“Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest……

“We drove up to visit the fall dog party at Dog Mountain. We quickly learned the area is really suited for mountain bikers! But we had great weather and a great, comfortable stay. We loved the cozy cabin. Local restaurants have great food and we ordered takeout and ate at the cabin and watched movies. It couldn’t have been better. Thank you!”

“The tree cabin is the cutest little spot for a couple! Hot tub was 10/10, the entire place is super cute and lots of special touches. We were there on a super windy and snowy night so the trees do bang into the house (it’s built into them), so if you’re a light sleeper definitely bring a sound machine or earplugs just in case. If it’s not windy it’s not a problem! Great place though. Would stay again. ”
