Very Moroccan hotel.

Posted Nov 13, 2017
Pros: Great location steps from the old walled Portugese City, friendly and helpful manager. The dinner was also the best food we had in Morocco.
Cons: Although the manager kept a close eye on everything it would have been nice to have an inroom safe or a locking door to our room.
Location: The location was great, right across the street from the ancient walled seaside Portugese City. Also restaurants nearby and the souk was right there
We loved the Moroccan décor, and the friendly atmosphere.

Lovely Place

Riad Le Mazagao is located just outside the Portuguese City and just around the corner from the market. The host, Chantal provided detailed instructions on how to get there. The riad was beautifully decorated. I particularly like the paintings in the room. Chantal showed me a binder upon arrival and explained to me the attractions and dining options in El Jadida. All in all, the riad is a great choice in El Jadida.

Great location, friendly host/owner, lovely decor

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: Atmosphere and location
Cons: Nothing
Location: Portuguese fort, cistern, market, etc. Great location.
An authentic Moroccan house, with many original features dating back to 1835, according to the owner/host. Wonderful first night in Morocco. The location is ideal for those wanting to see El Jadida's main sight -- the Portuguese fortress, including cistern. I'd highly recommend this charming riad.

Lovely Riad in a convenient location.

My stay was most enjoyable, and Chantal was extremely helpful with explaining about the riad, providing a great list of restaurants and things to see and do, and also arranging transportation for me for an early flight out of Casablanca. Highly recommended, and the riad itself shows the work and loving care that she has made it. Thanks very much Chantal!

Very enjoyable stay :)

I stayed in the Marrakech room of Riad Le Mazagao for 3 nights. This riad is well furnished and is in excellent condition. The toilet is not en suite but only next door, not sharing with anyone else. Shower is good. The room is spacious and clean, with a nice firm double bed. The location is very central and close to everywhere. The keeper is friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this riad to anyone traveling to El Jadida.

Great hospitality

Great location if you want to stay in the heart of el jadida, close to the souks, restaurants and the beach. Not for the one who seaks a calm and quiet location. Chantal who runs the place really made us feel at home and was helpful at all times!

Great place to stay in El Jadida

Posted Jul 29, 2016
Pros: Staff, Location, Room
Location: Near the beach and surrounded by restaurants and markets. The historical sites are across the street.
Charming Riad that was extremely comfortable. The staff was great as well as the location. We only got to stay there one night but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

A great, homely Riad

Felt more like a home than a hotel. The rooms were more than adequately equipped. I loved the rooms that were decorated in typical Moroccan style. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Did not have much difficulty finding it because I just asked around.
