"The hotel is to undergo a referbishment in a months time. Our room was dreadful, with holes in the walls a television you could not watch as it was facing the ground. The furniture was very damaged"

"We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes. The staff were excellent throughout our stay — polite, helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room, Falcor, is located at the back of the hotel above the kitchen. Unfortunately, this meant our night’s sleep was disturbed by occasional noise from what seemed to be a fan or kitchen equipment, followed by a much louder noise at 7:00 am when the kitchen extractor system was switched on for breakfast preparations. Would we stay again? Absolutely — just not in Falcor. "

There is also a large garden that is great for outdoor activities. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!"

Eating breakfast outside , playing pool in the games room , chilling out together in the lovely sitting room. A quirky , wonderful place to stay. We will definitely come again."
