Madam, Thank you for taking a bit of time to share your impressions. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay here overall. However, we feel inappropriate your remark about bedbugs. Please be reminded that: after your 1st night (out of 3) in room 301, you came to the reception, telling us that you both had been stung during the night by bedbugs. You refused at the time to let us inspect the room with you, on the excuse that the bugs would take off (bedbugs don’t have wings). Based on your word, we therefore gave you another room, inspected this time by you and 2 staff members, room that you found suitable. We were a bit surprised then at the check-out when you declared you would not pay your bill at all. After trying many times to explain that we did not find any evidence of the presence of bedbugs while facing all along your threats of bad comments, you finally paid your bill. About the presence of bedbugs in your 1st room: the room was extensively checked for evidences. No insects were found, no blood on the sheets either (which is usually the case when bedbugs are present). As we did not want to take any risk for future customers, we called in a specialized laboratory. The room was tested with specific equipment over a few days. Results are negative. The report is available on demand. Our final word on the matter: we take a great pride in the fact that our staff is doing everything possible to keep the premises as clean as could possibly be, and this is reflected in every single comment on any website.
