Fenwick getaway
We enjoyed our stay with just a couple of blips. The property wasn’t unlocked on our arrival but after a call to Frank, that was resolved quickly. Once in the house we discovered there weren’t any clean sheets or towels. Again, a call to Frank resulted in delivery of items within an hour or so but we missed a dinner reservation while waiting. One main issue was that the clothes dryer was not operational. We called Frank and after two days of trying to reach him, we gave up. There were kitchen towels left by previous tenants in the washer and it was clear why. Overall, the property is beautiful and well maintained. The house was very clean and the furnishings are lovely. The bathrooms were immaculate and the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the swimming pool, a wonderful amenity, and the proximity to the beach is priceless.

Great Property
The location was great! Within walking distance of the beach and the private pool was perfect!! Frank was very responsive as well! Some minor areas of the home could use a deep clean but the overall cleanliness of the home was good and no major complaints. I would stay at this property again and recommend to others!

Nice property, responsive owner
After a bumpy check in process (we were sent the wrong property check in info), Frank was very responsive. He communicated with us on every concern in a timely manner. The property is just as described, very clean and updated. The televisions are a little tricky, as they are all streaming tvs (no cable), and you need apps to watch. One suggestion would be to label the remotes for each room to avoid mixups. All the remotes look the same and can easily be switched up. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great place for extended family
We enjoyed our stay at the house. It has plenty of space to spread out and the bedrooms worked well for 6 adults and 3 young children. The location is just a short walk to the beach. The heated pool was perfec for afternoons when the younger children took naps and we wanted to still get outside and enjoy the weather. Frank was very helpful with getting the pool cleaned midweek.

Great Beach Location
This house is in a great location, close walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The pool was really nice for days it was to windy on the beach. The house was really nice and clean and the owner was very responsive!!!

Great stay
Great location. Close to all the stores and restaurants. We were worried about the noise from coastal highway but it was never an issue. House is very clean and we loved the large family kitchen table to eat all together. Pool was such a hit with everyone. The owner was so easy to communicate with and was so responsive!

Great house with an awesome pool
Lived our stay. House was beautiful, clean and accommodated 10 ppl really well. Well equipped. Didn’t have to go to the grocery store until Day 4 between the staples they had and what we brought. Loved that it had 2 masters as we were a party of 2 families. The pool was the best. Didn’t even hang at the beach. One of the few properties with a pool. Close to everything including OC boardwalk and marina - 20 min drive. Frank was quick to respond and was very easy going. If I had to say what could be improved, it would be silly things like only 1 set of dishes for 10 ppl and only 2 wine glasses in whole house. Not a big deal just used paper plates alot and used our Yetis or Stanleys. Also agree with previous review that cleaning before we left, replacing paper products, putting towels and linens out by 9 and having to do the rest all by 10 am with teens was a little inconvenient. Would rather pay an extra $100 or so to just vacate premises and have a cleaning crew do that for you but we managed. Lastly, the house is on the main strip so if you are in the front master and are a light sleeper, it sounds like traffic is running through the room starting at 7 am so not great sleep for me. All in all though loved our vacation and made so many new memories.

I’m glad you enjoyed my families beach house. Thanks for letting me know about the wine glasses. I will make sure we get more today. There is enough place settings for 12 people. I’m sorry you didn’t like the linen service and us providing the convenience items upon your arrival and needing to restock them before you leave. Most of our guest really appreciate and like that about our home. We are disappointed we only earned a 4 star review. Had I known you were not able to give us a 5 star we would have taken the necessary actions to make your stay a 5 star. Frank

Family getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. The heated pool was absolutely wonderful for our whole family. There are several restaurants within walking distance that were excellent and the beach is a very short walk.

I emailed the owner back in February 2022 when I learned there would be new home construction next door to inquire about construction noise. I was told the home would be nearly finished or competed by then (he owns that home, as well). This could not have been further from the truth. There was a full blow construction site next door, complete with generators blasting all day long, workers every where and a huge dumpster in the driveway. Running the hose from the house we stayed in across the driveway to the construction site. Not only could we hear the noise indoors, we could barely enjoy the outdoor amentities due to the racket from the generators. I did have to text him twice before he said he would ask the workers to move the generators to the other side of the house. Blatant disrespect for the people renting your home. On top of that nuisance, we were provided linens but had to make our own beds upon arrival? And then upon departure, there is a laundry list of things the renter has to complete. Remove all bedding, vacuum and sweep the entire house. Clean the kitchen. RESTOCK the items we thought were complimentary. Nope, this owner has his renters restocking his house before the check out - toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, trash bags and coffee (keurig pods - 40 of them). Had we known we would be the cleaning crew and responsible for stocking a house, we would have rented elsewhere.

Great Family Trip at Storm Bait
We had a wonderful time at Storm Bait South. Having the pool on the property made the trip so special. The kids were in it first thing every morning and the adults enjoyed “pool happy hours”. The location was great- yes it’s on a busy road but that makes it all the more convenient to walk pretty much everywhere. Having the store right next to the house was a huge plus. The back road by the beach (1 minute walk from the property) was perfect for morning strolls and we walked to get ice cream and candy with the kids each night. The house is equipped with more than enough beach and pool gear (chairs, a beach cart, toys, rafts, etc..) which was a huge plus. Having multiple decks was also a nice perk. It allowed for everyone to have their own space when needed. The host was super responsive. We did have a few maintenance issues (power issues and a drain issue) but they were were solved quickly. Only suggestion would be that the third floor deck furniture is very weathered and rusted- may need replaced soon. Everything else was just great and it was a very relaxing and fun vacation. Would definitely recommend their properties for future stays.

Owner was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend adding an outdoor table for either dining space or workspace. Desks or tables in a few bedrooms would give guests additional places to go when indoors. Overall a great stay- close to lots of restaurants and activities.

Plenty of space for 2 families!
We really did love our stay at Storm Bait South. Check in process was very easy. House is nicely set up with plenty of room for 2 families. The street noise is for sure an issue but we used a fan at night and that helped greatly. The bedding supplied by the house is very minimal so if you are used to more plush bedding - I would suggest bringing your own. Pool was lovely and overall we were very happy!

Amazing property and host!
Communication with the host prior to arriving was excellent, we were able to get an early check in and he even heated the pool for us! Beautiful home, everything was great. We messaged the host after, and he was very kind! Would definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

Birthday weekend getaway
We loved this house! Although close to a busy road, the noise was not an issue. It actually was easier to walk to dinner a couple nights. The beach is about 2 blocks away. Easy access. We enjoyed coffee on the back patio in the morning and gathering for drinks there at nights with the other couples who traveled with us. Plenty of space for all couples who stayed. Plenty of supplies. Although we panicked when we first arrived as there were no sheets or towels supplied, a quick call to the property owner and he had them delivered asap. Close drive to Ocean City Boardwalk. Only wish we couldve used the heated pool but it had been already winterized. Would recommend this house to all big groups, especially if thinking of a summer trip to enjoy the beach and the private pool!

Very nice vacation home!
This was our annual family vacation - 8 adults and 3 children. The house had plenty of space outside and inside, and it's a block from the beach. The pool was a huge plus. We had 80-85 degree days all week, and the pool was very comfortable. You do have to pay extra attention to the white cooktop. The location, next to a Royal Farms gas station, didn't bother anyone in the group. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacation
We had a great stay at Storm Bait South. The salt water pool was awesome, we absolutely loved that. It’s a short walk to the beach, which we also enjoyed. We had plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone. Having linens and laundry on site was a huge perk. It is on a main road so that noise can be a little loud at times, but was not a huge issue for us. Our only thoughts to improve, would be to add blinds in the two bathrooms facing the gas station for privacy and put up a gate to the stairs by the pool that lead to the ground to help keep kids from venturing. Thanks again for a great trip! Hope to make it back to Fenwick Island next year!

The place was really nice! The inside was clean and comfortable. I thought the street noise would be bad but it was fine. About a 3-5 minute walk to the beach though. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice place, not great location
The house inside and out was clean and very nice. The location next to royal farms on the highway, not so much. The walk to the beach is more than 30 seconds as described but still very short. We did enjoy our stay there. I would suggest more dining seating. The house sleeps 12 but only seating for 9. Also, need blinds in 2 of the bathrooms, especially the one facing the convenience store.

Nice stay at Storm Bait South
Very nice large beach house with pool and close to the beach. The road noise and noise from Royal Farms Gas Station was quite loud and constant. The pool temperature was very cold. Not many would even go in. Overall we had a great time and the house and outside decks were very accommodating.

False advertising. 100 false I have used vrbo for years never one issue until now
Dangerous unsafe house someone was hurt in a fall. Property was advertised falsely I am consulting an attorney. Place was filthy right by gas station not 30 seconds from beech access like falsely advertised. I am sure once attorney is put on retainer more bad experiences will come out.

We had a really nice time at Storm Bait South - we had 6 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 infant staying at the house. The layout of the house was perfect and it was extremely spacious with the open concept living arrangement. The pool was heated which was comfortable for those breezier/cooler days. The backyard sand pit was extremely convenient for the kids to build sand castles and for the adults to play games as well. The pool was cleaned after we arrived (but within 24 hours) which was arranged by the owner and the pool company so we really appreciated the owner's quick response to that request. Overall, we had a lovely time at Storm Bait South. However, there were a couple issues during our stay - the grill was not cleaned before our arrival, the light in the outdoor shower didn't work (even after asking a couple of times for it to be replaced) so we were unable to use that amenity during our stay, the pots and pans are in pretty bad shape and we spent a lot of time cleaning the stove top after cooking because the bottoms of the pans left marks every time (we had to go out specifically for stove top cleaner at one point), and we had to turn off the ice maker half way through the week because water kept leaking from the freezer. There is also quite a bit of noise being on Coastal Highway but we were already anticipating that before we arrived. Besides these couple of things - this is a great house for your next visit to Fenwick Island. The beach is right around the corner from the house and there are so many different restaurants and stores in walking distance which made our stay even better.

Beautiful Beach House
The house is beautiful and was perfectly clean when we got there. The kitchen was well stocked with the things we needed. Good furniture around the pool and on the decks. The location is good in relation to all the wonderful things in Fenwick. You can see the gas station from the pool and kitchen, but it did not bother us. The owner is extremely quick to respond which was appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely week.

Already planning for next year!
This was our first time in Fenwick Island and we loved it! Check in process was easy and the pictures of the home don’t do it justice. We were a group of 10 (4 adults and six kids) and never once felt crowded. Perfect location for the beach and shopping. The pool made for an awesome addition. Never had any issues during our stay. Also The Ropewalk restaurant is directly across the street and made for the best last night dinner spot!!! So happy we chose to stay at Storm Bait 2! Making this a yearly trip!

Quarantine at the beach
My first time renting a house. I have always been partial to vacationing at high end hotels but a Covid ruined that. The house was lovely, looked just as good in person as it did online. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Being on a busy street and next door to gas station was not a problem AT ALL (I was initially concerned). Loved having access to our own private pool. Will definitely go back next year!

Excellent family Vacation!
Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The house was terrific and the pool was clutch! The beach, with easy access is a short walk from the house. There was more than enough room in the house for everyone (our family of four including a six and three year old, my parents, and mother and father in-law). Throughout the week we never felt the need to go anywhere due to the house being so spacious. From cooking our meals at the home, playing games on the back deck, using the pool, and evening visits to the beach to fly kites. The home just allowed us to have a very enjoyable and low key week! We weren’t sure about having a gas station right next door due to possible noise, but it was not an issue and nice to have convenience store so close by. Coastal Highway being right next to the house was not an issue other than the occasional passing vehicle with loud exhaust. The owner’s (Frank) communication and personal care throughout the entire process was outstanding. For instance, he personally checked in throughout the week to make sure everything was good. There was a minor issue with no hot water in the upstairs shower, but was fixed within 24 hours. Just an example of how responsive Frank is. The house has six beach chairs for use and some various pool toys to enjoy. The outdoor shower is terrific to wash off after the beach before jumping into the refreshing pool. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance, including one of our favorite places Mancini’s! This was our families first time staying in Fenwick Island and we believe we may have found our family spot for years to come!

We had a few minor issues in the beginning but the owner was very helpful and responsive and the issues were resolved asap. The house was gorgeous and it was so nice to have a private pool. The house is located right near the beach and coastal highway so very convenient for all beach activities. We definitely plan to go back soon.

Exquisitely furnished and decorated! The warm, beach feeling in every room & heated pool was just what the doctor ordered for this time of year! Will definitely spread the word on how magnificent my stay was, with the beach at the back door! Mr. Willing was easy to talk to and very accommodating.
