We were able to park on the street for free. We had a warm welcome from the owner. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was great and was cooked and served by a friendly lady in a relaxing dining area. This property was meticulously clean, beautifully decorated and well-maintained. It offered great facilities and the attention to detail made it a real home from home with a touch of luxury. The staff were friendly and professional and provided excellent service. Breakfast was gorgeous. Quite apart from the spectacular rooms and hotel in general, the absolute sheer glee of being hosted by someone who loves meeting wollw, and makes an ASTONISHING fried slice made this an absolutely gleeful base to do the Yorkshire coast from. Stay here, Filey is a small town, but The Bank bar is just great and everything you'd want get to (says a Yorkshireman) is an easy, no traffic 45 mins away.
