"We loved staying at Heron's Hideaway! The cabin was perfect for three adults and our water-loving dog. We paddled around the lake in the canoes and kayaks, swam off the floating dock, watched birds, read books on the sunny deck overlooking the lake, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen (love a rental that comes with a salad spinner!), played cards, and did a 500 piece puzzle. So relaxing! The cabin was clean and tidy, with helpful labels on things so that we could find things easily and know how things worked. Joan's special touches like fresh flower bouquets, guest slippers and robes, and a little basket of tasty snacks and assorted teas were delightful. Highly recommend! "

"We were referred to this B & B from another couple. It was everything they said and more. We enjoyed sitting on front porch (blankets provided) watching birds listening to ocean. Breakfeast was great, and nice conversation with other guests. My wife really relaxed. Also enjoyed wine and cheese upon arrival 4:30 to 5:30."
