"Overall pretty clean. No where to hang out in the lobby to gather with others. The hotel felt dark overall. Old smells at times. Main water line burst at the hotel during our stay. They had to turn the water off to fix it, which I understand, but never informed guests this was happening. When asked if I could check out and not be charged for the day, I was told no. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon. Front desk could have handled it better. Additionally, the fire alarm kept going off at random times, but there was no actual fire. It’s an old hotel and you get what you pay for. "

"They loved my dog Stella, giving her homemade treats and a cute bandana! Very welcoming everywhere at the property including the formal dining room, she was complimented the entire time on her exemplary behavior. The staff here is second to none, the room stunning as well as the lodge and the views. Next time we will make sure to bring some grocery items since it is VERY remote, but a wonderful place because of it."
