I have stayed in some pretty bad hotels in my life. I flew around the world. This place is the worst!!!!!!!! I would never have booked it if the listing was forthcoming with the real conditions. Once I got there it was too late to make other arrangements. I have stayed in other La Quinta Inns before and enjoyed the stays very much. La Quinta should be ashamed to have their name associated with such a DUMP!!!! A/C was totally inadequate. We had to go out and buy a fan just to be able to sleep. The area right at the A/C unit was cool enough. But, ten feet away, it way hot and stuffy. And don't get me started on the bathroom (no ventilation, no fan, black mold, broken door). The whole room was dirty. Also, the elevator was scary (hot, slow, made funny noises when going up or down, tile on the floor was buckled, filthy, ceiling panels missing, exposed light bulbs). And the piece de resistance was when checking out, I overheard another couple quoted $79 per night, when we had been charged $150 per night,including pet fee, as near as I can figure it, through Expedia. Never again.

Where to start. I am surprised La Quinta and Wyndham are associated with this property. The lobby was fine but when we went to our room, there was someone watching us as we entered. Room had water stains on the ceiling. Lampshades were dirty, beds were in terrible condition, bathroom old and stained. We asked for another room and then as we approached the room, there were two people in the parking lot who watched us enter. This was more a motel than a hotel. As we walked to the room, there was a door that looked like the police took a battering ram to it. Things happen but what does that say about the property management who did not get the door replaced. Room was a little better but still had stains on the lampshades and beds were in terrible shape. We did not feel safe at all. Talked to desk and Expedia and had to lose one night costs in order to get refund. Other things that we saw, person smoking weed on outside staircase by room, people hanging out of car windows as they drove through the parking lot. I don't think I could recommend anyone to stay here.

The dining area is next to the front desk, which I found very strange. When we opened the room given to us, there was a naked guest inside. We returned to the front desk and requested the exchange. The second one had a horrible smell of cigarettes. They didn't want to cancel and found another room. This one was dirty and poorly maintained. Hair in the bathroom, carpet looked wet, old, mattress looked like jelly... and to finish: we woke up at 1:41AM because there were people singing and dancing in the pool, with loud music and glass bottles. We couldn't sleep well. Never returning.

Room was dirty, bathroom was disgusting, bath tub was leaking, toilet was not flushing and had to turn toilet water faucet on and off to flush. Front desk staff tried to rob me of 200$ and another $100 deposit that they already took from me online regardless the proof on my bank statements the guy still tried to steal more money from me. I wouldn’t be surprised if they steal my 100$ and lie that I messed up the room even though I was only there for 2 hours. I took video of the whole room when I first walked in to make sure they don’t try to steal my deposit and I will be sending it to corporate!

extremely dirty hotel, there was even a dead cockroach in the bathroom… we were 4 people and we had to beg for towels for everyone because they only gave us 2! in 9 days there was never any cleaning or tidying of the room.

Check-in was good. Disgusting bathtub; didn’t even shower! Roach in bathroom. Asked where breakfast was being served and the clerk handed me a bag which contained an apple, a packaged muffin and a Natures bar. That was a first!

Was out of town for work with my team. Roaches and bugs openly moving around the campus, Public facilities not working, look to be homeless Hanging out on the sidewalks in front of rooms. I could not have my staff staying there. I asked Expedia for a refund and to allow us to book at another nearby hotel. Still have not Received refund.
