As a budget priced facility, I have to give credit to Hilton for putting together a pleasant experience. Unfortunately the building is in a sketchy area of Fort Lauderdale and I was accosted by drug addicted homeless people immediately as I exited my car at the entrance. Not the fault of the facility, but people should be conscious of their surroundings while getting in and out of their vehicle. Once inside, the staff and facility are well run for the price.

Excellent lobby area and spacious cafe with awesome complimentary breakfast. Also great little cafe on a higher floor. Some activities available some days. Check with front desk. Pay for parking garage around the corner. Connects to hotel. Area unsafe for walking after dark.

We arrived two hours before check in and asked to do laundry but we're incorrectly told we didn't need a key card. I approached check in at 4pm and was given a room however when I arrived it was still being cleaned meaning I needed to wait 20 minutes. I went down to reception to explain my delay in picking up my parcels only to met by a manager who tried to blame housekeeping and refused to address my complaint with a formal response. Expedia and Chewy from the hotel were helpful. We felt unsafe at the bus station behind the hotel. Finally you can't connect your laptop to the TV.
