This is a Value Hotel

Posted May 3, 2016
Pros: fairly clean
Cons: more extensive repairs and updating
The hotel served its purpose of a ok place to sleep and leave but calling it a 3 star hotel is a stretch without as much as breakfast. The hotel is OLD and despite their efforts to replace some stuff it clearly shows. Our room was clean enough and the fixtures, furniture and carpet looked to be new but the walls were clearly patched up and the ceiling had some damage. The room is very dim and the lighting is bad the bulbs have a cold hue to them. Is it an ok place to sleep, yes but that's all and this should be marketed as a budget/value hotel not a three star full service facility.

Just ok

This place was definitely no-frills, but the staff was wonderful. The phone didn't work in the room which was a safety issue to me.

MY WORST NIGHTMEAR

Posted Apr 11, 2016 on Hotels
The receptionist were unfriendly and rude. I was eating at the hotel restaurant and all of a sudden I had a severe food allergy reaction. I was scared and ask for the management help. The management both from the hotel and from the restaurant were afraid of a possible law suit, so instead of helping me, they said the only thing they could do was to ask for an ambulance, but that I had to pay for it. I kept telling the front receptionist to just order me a taxi to go to the nearest pharmacy to buy benadryl. She got so mad because I ask her to please hurry up since I was feeling dizzy. She said if I was going to be that way, I could go to heal and told the other employees from the restaurant to leave me alone and do not pay any attention to me. I called a taxi myself and had to wait a whole hour for them to arrive. It was a horrible experience. I do not recommend this hotel not even to my worst enemy. They should be ready to handle any kind of emergency. But they do not seem to know how to give first aide to any one.

Would liked to have continental breakfast instead of a Mexican restaurant that only serves eggs.
