This was one of my favorite properties I’ve ever stayed at! The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. The breakfast was perfect too! It’s in the center of old town and everything is a 5 minute walk away. It was very clean and I felt very safe and comfortable my entire stay. Will come back for sure!

Very clean and spacious rooms. Property is located in the heart of the town making accessibility to the surrounds extremely useful. The staff were excellent, only very small language barrier at times (nothing that could not be sorted). Highly recommend the stay

This was a great place to stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The stay was so romantic looking out at the very spot that is in books and advertisements. The view was great and everything was within walking distance. The room was a nice size with okay storage. There are no fans, refrigerators, coffee machines, or elevators. The bed was very squicky. It is a little nosey from room 15, but to be expected based on the location. The parking area is very small and limited, but it is connected to the hotel for quick easy access. There is no parking on the streets around the hotel. The breakfast could be a little better. The town is so beautiful and romantic. Excellent weekend getaway.

The best part about the hotel is the location and the staff- both were excellent. But I wasn’t impressed with the room I had. It was exceptionally outdated, carpets were stained and old, and there were no amenities- no coffee maker nor tea kettle, no mini fridge or mini bar. I also had a small issue with ants. But my main problem was that the bed was soooo uncomfortable. I was there 3 nights and slept horribly all three nights. The mattress was just awful. I wouldn’t stay there again.

This property is perfectly located and has on site parking for smaller cars. We were able to walk to everything in the city. The view from room #17 was amazing!!! Would stay here again. Little place right across the street to eat breakfast and get some coffee, short walk to the city wall, the famed house everyone takes a photo of is right outside of the window, great location.

You'll need to take a ride on Rudolph if you want more Christmas magic than what the hotel glocke provides. Overlooking the ultimate Rothenburg ODT postcard scene, this quaint place can't be more central to shops, the Christmas market, or the starting point of the night watchman's nightly rounds including his delightful historic tales, some of which might be true. The staff greeted us sincerely. Since we arrived rather late, we chose to eat at the inhouse restaurant which turned out to be the only locals place we found during our entire stay. Great local specialties and service. We enjoyed our entire stay, and especially the staff.

We could not have been treated better or more like family here. I took ill while here and needed to leave for a hospital a day early. We were refunded the night that we didn't stay even though I didn't expect that. Only a kind and decent person would do that. That told me all I needed to know about how wonderful this family is. They have owned this place for generations and this family business treated us like family. Nice, comfortable rooms with impeccable construction and upkeep. We will be back.

The Glocke was very quiet and conveniet for me. I had little cause to interact with the staff, except at breakfast and they did a wonderful job of keeping the foods available and the tables ready for the next guests. My only surprise was the lack of an elevator but that would not stop me from staying there again.

Very nice place, the staff was friendly and helpful during my visit. The only complaint, and I really shouldn’t say complaint, just that my room was a little cold. But I’m skinny that is not there problem. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel at a perfect location for a city stay when travellingalong the "Romantische Strasse". Not too fancy but quiet and clean. Breakfast was very nice, highly recommended. We didn't use the hotel parking but covered parking is available at 9 Euro.

Great hotel in great location
Perfectly located, the blue hotel, next to the Plonlein, the most recognised and photographed landmark in Rothenburg. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable and we loved the four-poster bed. Breakfast was plentiful. We also had a very nice dinner at the hotel restaurant. The reception staff, the waiter and waitress were all helpful and very pleasant. It was an easy 8 minute walk from the train station. While it didn’t bother us, some attractions and tours were not operating in February e.g. the Night Watchman tour. For Valentine’s Day the town holds a music and light celebration which was a great evening.

The property was in tbe nice location which was inside the town walls, only minutes walk to the square. Eventhough it was an old hotel with dated furnitures, the guestroom was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and good value. All the staff were very friendly. We loved that they had car park at a reasonable rate of 9 euro per day. The only thing that we would have liked was a kettle for making coffe/tea. Apart from this, the property was highly recommended.

What a wonderful place! Great location. Just perfect. Room was picture perfect with the 4 poster canopy bed and antique feel. Staff were super nice and helpful. The only problem was trying to find the parking. You park on the side of the hotel and the staff will open the garage door. However, it was only 9 euros a day in a covered and protected area. 10+ rating for this place!

Rothenburg is an amazing place.
We loved Rothenburg and Glocke is a fine place to stay. The location is fabulous. Our biggest irritation was that the name of the hotel listed on line is not the same name actually on the hotel. This caused unnecessary difficulty locating it. Great breakfast! Nice that they have covered car parking for a reasonable price.
