“The cottage was very comfortable and cozy and had many amenities and special touches to make it very welcoming. It was quiet and peaceful and located within short drives to the Antietam Battlefield and Shepherdstown where we rented bikes for a nice day of biking on the C&O Canal, the focus of our long weekend. We enjoyed the sounds of the Potomac River at the dam and the birds while relaxing on the porch. ”

It felt like home. The bonus was the owner, who was so helpful and avaliable to assist with whatever we needed. “The home was very clean and just as pictured. Temperatures went down to 39 degrees so it was a little cold, but we packed warm clothes. Beds were very comfortable. Found a package of firewood at 7-11 that burned great for the firepit! Really enjoyed our stay and would most definitely return! ”

“Great fall weekend getaway! Perfect little cottage for two. Both the bathroom and kitchen areas were new and clean. Nice queen-sized bed with comfy pillows. The cottage is right along the main street in town, walkable distance to shops, spas, and restaurants. A thoughtfully placed white noise machine lessens the traffic noise from the street. We slept great both nights. Highly recommended.”
