“This is probably the best hotel in Freeport since it’s right in town and has a big parking lot. Parking is free but you must get a tag from the front desk. Another helpful amenity is bar which stays open til 11pm. Overall the room was basic but offered everything you need. I wish breakfast was included however they charge $20 for a breakfast buffet that most other chain hotels offer for free.”

“Great old world style property with good food. We have stayed there several times with very favorable results. The room however on this trip was too small to comfortably hold two adults. Very little room between the beds and the walls and not much room to get dressed or store luggage. Just make sure you request a larger room.”

“Please listen closely!! If you pass this place up, I truly feel sorry for you. I am on a first time adventure to Maine from Indiana and this is my FAVORITE place stay of ALL TIME. I wish I had done my homework and planned more time at Desert of Maine. Our cabin was cozy after a nice evening by the fire. Loved the shower!! “Dave and Keleigh (the owners) are wonderful hosts and take the meaning of bed & breakfast to a whole new level. The Brewster House is a quaint, comfortable, and historical getaway and I would highly recommend. The beds are extremely comfy, the location is excellent, and the breakfast was top notch. Dave is a trained chef and you can tell he is passionate about his breakfast menu every morning (it changes!). Both of them are so kind, helpful, and welcoming.
