This is in a great location and room was very spacious. Blind in bedroom was broken in down position so it was always dark in there. You are supposed to download an app that requires “always on” connection to Bluetooth to get in, but someone was available to give us card keys instead.

Loft was clean, staff was nice. Keep in mind when booking there are no laundry facilities in unit or building, no pool, no front desk, no snack/drink counter or restaurant attached, and no shuttle service from airport. You get a furnished loft with basic toiletries, cooking gear, table/drinkware, and dish tv. There is definitely a sense of "things left to be desired" especially for the pricing. I expected itinerary ideas, restaurant suggestions, etc. But none of that was available or offered.

The space was amazing. Equipped with everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and the unit was very clean. This was our second stay at the Docents Collection and we will definitely stay here again. There was a very minor inconvenience with the freezer door - it didn't close all the way so all the ice was melted into one blob and we had to go out to get ice.

This property was really great! It was clean and had everything we needed! The only thing I couldn’t find was a cutting board ;) maybe I missed it. Very nice staff, safe and convenient area. Short bus ride from the airport so we didn’t need a car. We enjoyed our stay! :)

Fantastic place to stay when visiting Portland. The location can't be beat -- within a couple of blocks to the ferry terminal and Old Town shops and restaurants. The building is next to a police station and my family and I felt very safe. The unit was immaculate, modern, and fully equipped. Onsite parking was a huge bonus, as was the friendly and helpful staff. I would, without hesitation, stay at The Docent's Collection again.

Excellent! Was like staying in a high end apartment in an awsome location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We brought our dog who was warmly welcomed. Our apt had a washer dryer which we made good use of. Would 100% stay again

This property is beautiful and in the middle of everything. It is pricey but they spare no expense with respect to service and amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bathrooms are beautiful with wonderful products. Their attention to detail and proactive communication around check in and ensuring the stay is going well is great. Highly recommend!

Great for a family

We had a great stay here as a family with young kids. These are really apartments, not like a hotel. We happily traded the daily cleaning and front-desk services of a traditional hotel for the beautiful space we got here! Despite this being a fully electronic check-in experience, everything was seamless and actually probably faster than in-person check in. The apartment unit itself was spacious and beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved being able to prepare a couple meals “at home” and the food coop is just a short walk away to grab groceries. Parking was simple and right next door (self-parking, no waiting for valet!), and we were thrilled there was an accessible EV charger. We would definitely stay here again.

Very impressed with the facility. Centrally located. We had a bumpy start with the contact-less virtual check-in. But now that we know what needs to be done, it will be easier next time for us. Especially nice for anyone who is traveling on business and expects an extended stay in the area.

Nice apartment..no staff to help with the facility. Convenient to walk around Portland. It can be confusing to use the FLEXIPASS at first and to make sure you have also signed up for parking if you need it. Next time I would stay close to the water and at a hotel so I have more guest services. The staff was nice when I called to get help but I prefer on-site help. Also, it has a few stairs to get into the apartment building. Overall the building and facility is very clean and nice.

Incredibly impressed with everything start to finish. Our 2 bedroom room was spacious , quiet and clean. The property is within walking distance to bars and restaurants. Perfect alternative to the traditional hotel experience for those looking for a little more room.
