Five stars. The room was cozy; the breakfasts were original, tasty and interesting; the grounds lovely and the people nice. It was the perfect room to spend rainy afternoons after hiking in the various lovely places around the island. Being dog friendly was such a bonus. They even have a lovely little fenced in area for the pups. Only one thing to change: The room above us had a piano that the those guests thought appropriate to play at 7 in the morning. (Seriously - who does that?). Best to avoid having to listen to Chopsticks played badly at any time. Really, pianos don’t being in hotel rooms for many reasons, Mary Had a Little Lamb notwithstanding. However I’d consider that minor. It’s a lovely place. We’ll stay here again on our next trip.

It is the entire first floor of the historic house complete with an eat in kitchen, living room, dining room and wrap around porch and private hot tub. We are sorry you were disturbed by the piano. We take our quiet hours seriously and wish you would have given us a call. We always feel helpless responding once you have left. We always like to address things in the moment. It’s not a new building, so don’t expect sleek and modern, but it’s immaculate, cozy, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the bed is SO comfy and inviting. My pets appreciated the treats and water bowls. If you want to walk on a SJI Ferry, the location is perfect!!

Excellent rental. Convenient walk or drive from ferry. Very efficient use of space inside. Very quiet and clean. Provided breakfast brought to the door of the cottage. Good wifi. Excellent communication from rental management throughout. Good value. I would rent it again if I came with similar circumstances. Side note - I couldn't get the teapot to heat on the stovetop, but it may have been something I was doing wrong. And it was fine since I was able to heat water in the microwave.

Sweet property, great bath products, French press, great ground coffee and local milk in Glass bottles excellent breakfast baskets delivered even Gluten free and vegetarian options. Jennie’s cottage had an excellent bathtub and lots of thoughtful details, bed cozy and very clean.

Very convenient to walk to sone great restaurants like Coho. Easy to get to the roads leading to South Beach, Lime Kiln. Hosts were wonderful. We got to meet Patrick who was very hospitable as he clarified my wife’s dietary needs.

Lots of personal touches! The property host greeted us right away and made us feel welcome. Great breakfasts—just the right amount of fresh, tasty and healthy food and beverages to get your day off to a good start. They were most accommodating to my challenging dietary restrictions. The small kitchen was equipped with everything we needed—even snacks! The bathroom was fully stocked with quality toiletries.

A charming place to stay in Friday Harbor
The Tucker House Inn is a wonderful place to stay in Friday Harbor. Everything was perfect, from easy check in to the dinner reservations at their local restaurant to the comfortable accommodations to breakfast the next day. The hotel is a convenient walk from the ferry and to everything in downtown Friday Harbor. Highly recommended!

such a cute property the staff was wonderful. My husband called without my knowledge and asked if they could find some flowers to have in the room because we are celebrating our 20th anniversary. They took care of that and were so sweet the bed is comfortable. The pillows are amazing everything that you would need is here, great location walkable to most of the town. Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Friday Harbor at this cozy place. The location is perfect, the cottage is comfortable and clean, the breakfast is outstanding, and the communication and check in/out process was very easy. It was a nice little property, which it has more amenities. Was not crazy about the food and could not figure out the coffee situation. Groundskeeper was friendly and cool.

Pretty Property--TERRIBLE customer service
When I booked this suite with two bedrooms and a living room with sleeper sofa I did not know how man of us there would be. Several months later when we thought we'd have four they asked for the names. Then they said I only booked for two and that there would be $26pp per day additional fee. They BERATTED me for booking it on Hotels.com and said if I had booked directly they could takecare of me, but since thru hotel.com I was SOL. 2 weeks before the trip the two extra people could not come. I called and asked to remove the additional fees. AGAIN they said I should have booked directly not thru hotels.com and there was nothing they could do. Interesting that they could make the change to increase the fees but not to decrease them.... The place itself was charming. The rooms and sofa bed comfortable. Great ability to access each room independently from outside. ODDLY the only bathrooms were accesible from the bedrooms. So if you have someone in the living room on the sofa they have to go thru a bedroom to get to a bathroom (awkward moments in the middle of the night). It was mostly clean--HOWEVER there were feces smeared for a 3" swath below the toilet handle which I had to clean off on checkin---GROSS!!!! It was advertised as a full kitchen.but there was a giant hole where the oven should be. We had brought pizza and bread to bake--no way to cook it. No cutting board. BREAKFAST was delicious and hot and they accomodated vegan and vegetarians too!

There are two sides to every story, and my recollection is not the same as yours, regarding the conversation between booking third-party vs. booking directly with us. BERATTED is a strong term, vs. suggesting another alternative, which allows us to personally converse with you about your stay. In hindsight, I only wish you would have confronted me while on property to discuss your frustration. When you discovered the feces at check-in, a quick phone call would have triggered an immediate visit from one of our team members to alleviate you having to deal with it. This is not acceptable, and housekeeping will be made aware of this incident. I apologize for this situation. Our culinary team will be made aware of your positive comments, regarding breakfast and your dietary requests.

Delightful Inn in Friday Harbor
The Tucker House / Harrison House Inn is outstanding. Very nicely appointed room, and an excellent breakfast. In a quiet setting, walking distance to Friday Harbor shops and restaurants.
