“Staff were very friendly on arrival and took us to our room. That was the only time we saw them and we spent 2 nights there 😅 The room was okay but the carpet could do with a good clean and maybe move the beds too, my son dropped a car under the bed and it came out covered in dust and hair… The room was chilly and we weren’t told how to turn the heating on, if it was even an option. The old style windows didn’t help either. The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment but at least the shower……

“All in all an ok stay. Was let down by a tired bathroom with stains in the bath and poor service at reception. I had to wait quite a while to be checked in as the staff member was missing, and was then sent on a wild goosechase around the rooms in outbuildings only to be told when I returned that the room was indeed in the main building and that he was new and did not know where the rooms are! Breakfast was excellent.”

“We thought the room was not worth the price. It was a bit shabby and lacked the extras with a room that price. Early evening we saw two rats outside on our patio. There was a lack of staff at certain times and this was communicated to us when asking for breakfast.
