Clean room but very small

Posted Sep 28, 2016
Pros: Clean
Cons: Better information on Expedia's website to explain the room.
Location: Downtown Odense. Lots of shops and dining. The train station is directly behind the hotel
First when arriving, finding some where to park and check in is non existent. There are no sign directing you to their parking, which they must open for you. When you do park, it would have been nice to know that it is for small cars only. Our smaller SUV could barely fit in the ramp done. It took 2 people watching the sides to be able to get the car out. Which Expedia would have pointed that out. The room is very small. There were 3 adults but once we brought in out luggage there was literally no place to stand. Imagine a stateroom on a cruise ship, this room was smaller. Although the room was very clean so housekeeping is good.

Close to centre but not comfortable

Posted Aug 9, 2016
We had booked a four bed room, it turned out to be a ships cabin with a pair of bunk beds. Very small bathroom equivalent to a caravan. No air conditioning so needs to open the window to sleep at night, however, the hotel was next to central bus station so very noisy until the early morning. Breakfast not included, an extra 75DK, can not comment on this as did not try, however, there is a supermarket very close to the hotel.

A few steps from the station

Posted Aug 7, 2016
Pros: A good bargain, a bed and a good breakfast
Cons: Room are really like they advertised: a cabin. Not much room/space but that's OK
Location: Perfect location in downtown Odense. 1 min walk from central station
This is ok if you are visiting the city, or staying here on a small budget. Breakfast is good, room is Ok, tiny bathroom but that's Ok, everything (in there) is small sized, bed included. All in all it was a good bargain for the price. I will come back, if I need to

Hotel centrally located

Posted Aug 5, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Centrally located
Cons: Parking is a challenge
Location: Railroad station. H.C. Andersens museum
I have stayed at Cabinn in Odense many times. This time all the parking at H.C. Andersens Museum had vanished, victim of the building boom. So, parking is a challenge. The rooms are small but if you are only staying a few days it's O.K.

This hotel should not be on the search list.

Pros: Nothing !
Cons: Never !
Location: Near nothing.
This hotel advertise rooms like we have in the USA, however this is a bunk bed crash for the night hotel, everything extremely small and like a shelter building.

Nice hotel

Nice Hotel, friendly staff .. and with two important features: A parking lot in the neigbourhood and the possibility to turn up the heat which you are not able to in other Cabin hotels!

The location was great. 2mins walk to the train station and around 10 mins walk to HC Andersens' Museum. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

Hot stuffy rooms and defective beds

Posted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Position relative to the centre of town which is within easy walking distance
Cons: Control of room temperature and fixing the beds.
Location: Easy walking distance to the main town sights
The hotel is right on a main road and traffic junction. The room was very hot and the thermostat in the room didn't work. If you opened the window to try to cool down then the road noise kept you awake. The pull out bed was broken and couldn't be used. The top bunk which was over 6ft high had not safety bar to prevent you rolling out or forgetting you are in a bunk while sleepy and falling out. Overall a poor night's sleep.

Near to the city and straight down to the train station.
