This is not a fancy hotel. It’s a guesthouse in the best possible location, run by nice people and with soft, clean linens and towels. Worth it for the sunset views alone.

This was a comfortable stay in an ideal spot overlooking the city rampart. The owners were welcoming and helpful. The ensuite was a little basic but we were comfortable enough and enjoyed the stay. Very good value for money. Our thanks to the owners.

Basic Guesthouse in ideal location

Basic guesthouse right by the fort wall and close to everything in Galle fort. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. It could do with a lick of paint and refurbishment which were make it a much nicer place to stay.

View and location are excellent. It is in the tourist area. All shops and restaurants are for tourists. We could see see sunset next to the galle fort in the hotel. There was an elephant ice cream sellers nearby all the time. The breakfast is clean and rich. They provide options for traditional Sri Lanka breakfast and English breakfast. The furniture in the room is vintage (You can even tell from the smell). We didn't open the curtain at all because they are next to the corridors. Everyone can see our room is open the curtain. Staff are nice but no place for car parking. Hot water provided in bathroom and air con is sufficient.
