Great quiet getaway

Childhood Friends Fishing Trip

Enjoyed a two night trip with friends. We primarily fished at the house, fished ghe flats at San Luis pass and hung out at house. It was a great trip to catch up and ghe house had everything we needed, even kayaks for the boys.

Great get-away

My husband, two daughters and two of their friends stayed at Reel Palms for 4 nights. The house was comfortable and just what we needed! I loved having the half bath with all the girls. Each room has a TV, and that made individual down time much better since everyone had something to watch. The beach toys and tent were a big hit with the girls since they spent so much time at the beach. they also enjoyed the bikes and kayaks. My husband and I drove around to a number of places to birdwatch. The location of the house was very convenient and I love being out of Galveston. The west side of the island is more relaxing and calm. I appreciated that! Communication with Jom and Monica were very easy to get in touch with. Thank you!

Fabulous Home!

We were Galveston Bay home owners for many years, and we love the Bay/Canal side of the Island! This home had so many wonderful things to offer like underwater dock lights, patio furniture for sitting and enjoying, and beach equipment. The home was comfortable and the hosts were more than kind and accommodating. Great stay!

Fun family vacation stay

Had a great time with the family at the Canal house. Fishing and kayaking was great. Hosts were super responsive to broken TV and replaced it that day. Fenced in yard was an extra benefit for the furry family members.

Relaxing and beautiful home

House needs a few maintenance items taken care of but overall was a spacious home and the deck was perfect for fishing from. A little pricey but enjoyable.

Singing in the rain

We arrived right before a tropical storm was predicted to cause high winds and flooding. We had everything we needed to hunker down for a few days. This home was an awesome place to be stranded in. The owners checked on us and neighbors checked on each other. Some with high vehicles offered to make store runs. We saw kayakers, fished in the rain and really enjoyed our family time. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations to wait out a storm. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Getaway

Great place to stay

The house was great for our family of 4 adults and 2 children under 6 years! They loved fishing off the deck and the yard being totally fenced in was great for our fur babies. I would recommend this hour and look forward to staying here again.

Perfect get-away at Reel Palms

Very relaxing and enjoyable. Docking the boat at the house made easy access to the bay for fishing and sunset cruises. Whether laying in the hammock reading a good book, grilling trout and redfish caught that day in the bay, crabbing or a quick trip to The Strand, this was a great, low-key get away. The amenities that come with the house are an added bonus - kayaks, bicycles, crab traps, and more. The house was comfortable and inviting. The sitting areas outside were very relaxing and peaceful, both upstairs and under the house. Jom and Monica were very attentive and responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

So peaceful

This was a phenomenal place to stay. My husband and I loved the seclusion of Jamaica Beach. Its away from all the tourists, but still close to the beach. The patio was perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. Jom and Monica were excellent. Their communication was on point. We are looking forward to bringing our children to this quaint oasis. Thank you Jom and Monica! :)

Great house in Jamaica beach!

The house is very comfortable and well appointed, perfect size for our family of 4 but it could definitely hold a couple more, no problem. Loved the decks, the wide canal with fishing lights, downstairs patio with fenced in yard, and a garage full of toys. We loved having the bikes available, our girls especially loved the tandem. The house is a gem, Jom and Monica were great as well, very responsive and easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

Reel Palms is Beautiful, Clean, and Safe!

The Reel Palms house, on a canal, was spacious, beautifully put together and, most importantly (and unexpected) SAFE for our infants and toddlers. I've never seen a house on the canal where the entire downstairs yard and entertainment area was fenced in. That made it possible for our little ones to play freely and for us to relax and not worry about them falling into the water or wandering out into the street. AMAZING!!!

Pre-Cruise Vacation

Our stay way amazing. We fished off the deck and utilized the kayaks. We caught quite a few fish and loved the lower deck that we always was able to catch the breeze in. Loved it!

Great house and great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. This house has everything you need. My kids loved the kayaks and the fishing. The house has everything you need for a great vacation. The location is also great. We will definitely be back.
