A beautiful red kite decided to give us a soaring display one evening :) The cottage is very close to the main A75 so it can be noisy while you're out in the garden. On the plus side, the location gives good travel access to all areas of D&G by bus and by car. “Glenterry is located in a secluded area of Dumfries & Galloway less than 10 minutes drive between Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. It is a very quiet area with the only other property for miles a couple of hundred yards away. The house was spotlessly clean, centrally heated and had all the amenities we needed for our stay.
