We were so close to the Parkway but this cottage was tucked away and felt very private and quiet! Game room was so much fun! Everything was clean and comfortable!

Great, Quiet, Convenient Cabin!

It’s great it’s close to downtown, but far enough away you don’t get stuck in the traffic if you want to go to pigeon forge! My dogs liked the quiet environment! Hot tub was wonderful, ping pong table was a hit, and we loved playing Pac-Man.

Great Time - Not Too Far from Home

I love to travel but I don't like to go places I can't take my dogs. This was the perfect long weekend away with my dogs. I felt nestled away in the woods and mountains but was only minutes away from fun and excitement. I would highly recommend this cabin and Gatlinburg for those seeking a getaway close to the fun that feels miles away.

Weekend Getaway

Pleasant stay, all as described. Batteries to remote were dead, easy fix. Plenty of room for kids and pets to play outside. Pleasant neighborhood. Close to main strip, walking distance really. But private as well. Would stay again.

Cabin stay

Smell: Slight smell in kitchen. Smells like the kitchen sink P trap. Jacuzzi: cloudy after first use, no way to shock it. Pool table: no chaulk for the pool sticks and it was a little dirty Ping pong table: 2 of the 4 paddles are ready to be replaced. Dart board: does not work Fire: no firewood, other cabins do provide that. Dirt: welcome mats on the inside of the house is necessary. Vacuum: is dirty, full of pet hair. Washed hands immediately after touching it. Mstr bathroom: finish is coming off of mirror. Kitchen: counter tops were not wiped down. No scissors or lighter if needed. Positives: Cleanliness: everything else was clean, floors clean, bathroom clean, dishes clean, ect. Amenities: arcade was a blast for the kid and us adults! Loved the small pool table and ping pong

Great location and cute little cottage

Convenient to the strip and close drive to the G.S.M.N.P. It has a quiet little neighborhood with lots of trees. The only thing that wood make this a little better would probably be 2 full baths. Overall a great place!

Good location

Convenient to downtown. The hot tub was great as well as the game room. The master bed has a bad dip in the middle of the mattress that was a bit uncomfortable. The floor vents would look better if they were painted.

Wonderful and Peaceful

My family and I had a great time. The cottage was clean well stocked with cooking kitchen gadgets. Nice large front yard for my Boston Terrier to play in. The kids loved the hot tub. Close to every thing.

Our RedBud Cabin Review

Cabin was clean, comfortable, and, was conveniently located near Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. It was hard at times though to get in and out of the cabin location onto the parkway.

Quiet Place

I had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg! At the rental we were able to see a bear scouting for food in the metal trash bins on day 3. I believe due to my neighbors cooking out the day before & the bear was able to smell from a distance. We stayed 4 nights, so happy we got to the rental before dark because it was a little steep and the location of this particular rental was on a dead end street which maps was having a hard time locating. I drove a rental Hyundai Accent made it up the hills no issues which is a short distance from the parkway just past light #2 turn right at caution light so hopefully that will help in your decision. I definitely would have a AWD or 4 wheel drive during winter months. The rental was cleaned but not “white glove” clean, had plenty of towels which was a nice surprise. Nothing was broken except that damn pool table still needs to be fix that everyone has complained about and the video game wasn’t working (false advertising). I called and spoke with rep with Cabins For You prior to my trip and inquired about the items that were mentioned on previous reviews which the lady answered by saying, “there’s been no work orders recently” but did not ask for what rental. I knew at that point they are trained to answer your questions. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙂 I picked that particular rental due to those items. Your maintenance guys should be able to put some plywood board underneath the table to catch the balls so they can roll to the front, right now the two corner pockets has NO bottom so the balls will drop on the floor. The ping pong table worked, the balls are underneath the table 🙂 also I feel this rental could use some update with furniture & mattress, the TVs in bedrooms could not get a signal. I understand this rental allows pets so the wear & tear on items is going to be more than a rental that doesn’t allow pets but you still need to update furniture & mattresses after a certain time frame. Overall had a great experience in downtown Gatlinburg & the location of rental was great able to get to the Smokie Mountain and attractions in a short amount of time. FYI -there is some corrosion on the left side of driveway coming into the rental, causing to drop off a bigger vehicle could have some issues. Thanks again for letting me experience an awesome place! I’ve always love Gatlinburg.

Just okay, needs work

The location was nice, has a place to rest your head, and a hot tub. Other than that I wouldn’t stay again. There was a layer of dust on furniture and lamps along with cobwebs. The main bedrooms mattress is worn out. Back bedroom door didn’t latch. And the pool table is broken and a pocket was held up by a stick that my one year old kept pulling out making the balls fall out on the floor. The morning of check out I messaged the guest service personnel that emailed me confirming I got check in information and haven’t heard back. We were only there two days so I didn’t call about our issues while there.

Disappointed

We arrived late on check in day and the house was very dirty. I spent at least an hour sweeping and knocking cob webs off the furniture in the game room. The ceiling fans and lamps are covered in dust and you can see dirty marks on the doors from handprints. The secondary bedroom was made with dirty sheets. There was dog hair in the bed and debris and dirty foot marks at the bottom of the sheets. We called the following morning and they sent over new sheets. The ceiling fan was broken in the living room and they did send someone to fix it. They also asked for pictures of what was dirty so I sent those, but never heard anything. The air hockey table is not in the game room as shown in the listing, they have added an arcade cabinet. One of the pockets in the pool table is broken so the balls fall on the floor. Overall this house is worse for the wear. The staff was nice when I called but it didn't make up for having to stay in that house for a week. We actually ended up leaving early.
