Very relaxing
Just one night for business. But very friendly and efficient. Room was excellent, as was the restaurant and I liked the touch of leaving some fruit, which is good when not time for breakfast......

Beautifully situated site. However, poor, and at times arrogant service attitude was a turn-off. For this reason, our stay did not compare favorably to other hotels we stayed at that are also part of the Relais & Chateaux Hotel association.

Nice hotel with amazing view from the patio. Certainly would stay there again. Recomendation, if you like to dine in one of the hotel‘s restaurants you need to make a reservation far in advance.

Everything was very nice.my only complaint would be that we didn't have coffee available in our room for when we woke up and that our room was very warm. The bathroom floor was heated and it kept the whole room very warm. Our AC was set to 16, but we never got near that temperature. The staff was lovely and the location could not have been more beautiful.

Burg Schwarzenstein hotel and restaurants.
Wanting to end a long holiday with a couple of comfortable nights winding down we chose to spend two nights at Burg Schwarzenstein. Less than an hour from Frankfurt airport overlooking the Rhine valley it was perfectly placed for this. Whilst there is not much to do on site, the surrounding restaurants, villages and forests make this a great location whether travelling as a couple or family. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the views from the restaurant are outstanding. We tried both restaurants on site however the highlight was the meal down at Schloss Johannisburg one evening. The gourmet restaurant had interesting food however the combination of flavours and textures sometimes were sublime and sometimes bland and confusing. With the cost of this restaurant we expected much better consistency. Breakfast was good but very expensive. Back at the hotel the common areas are very pleasant if you want to sit around and read or have a pre dinner drink. Overall this is a beautiful hotel to stay at.

Relaxing place!
The hotel is exactly same like is saying in websites. Amazing place. Very calm and silent - out from everything. Hotel room was so stylish with fresh fruits and that cake made me so pleased. IT was somerhing tiny but very nice welcoming. We had dinner - IT was Ok, food did not suprise us. We Looking for more…dessert saved! Brekfast was perfect. And that view… Thank you!

Die Lage und die Ausstattung sind sensationell! In der Adventszeit gab es eine wunderschöne, unaufdringliche Dekoration. Das Personal ist ausgezeichnet und hat sich sehr schnell um alle Anliegen gekümmert. Mein einziger Wunsch: ich möchte bei schönem Wetter im Frühjahr oder Sommer wiederkommen.

Tolles Hotel in sehr schöner Lage, sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gute Restaurants, toller Service. Das einzige was stört sind die sehr unbequemen Betten, der Liegekomfort ist katastrophal, wir haben sehr schlecht geschlafen!
