The best in Geneva
Located right on the Geneva strip and just a short drive from wineries, State Park and beaches. Three bedrooms, each with their own private full baths. Lakefront with awesome views and beautiful sunsets.

Girls weekend
This was the best weekend getaway/girls trip. The location was perfect rite on the lake walking distance to a lot. Even tho it was as off season we enjoyed the winery’s . We plan on making this a yearly trip.

80th bday celebration
Location is great especially for summertime I assume. Being early March it was a bit of a ghost town but we expected that. Very nice view and enjoyed the closed in porch for morning coffee. We had a party of 8 and the pull out sofa was broken hence a little problem there. I reached out to owner just because we were relying on that couch for sleeping arrangements. If you have younger guests probably not an issue with sleeping on couch but we had older guests and would have liked beds that were offered. I would have brought an air mattress if I knew the couch was not an option. Also, could not find extra linens if we were able to use pullout. All and all, our visit was nice and enjoyed the stay. We did call another number that was listed and left a message about a lock issue but never heard back from them even just to check in and make sure no other issues. So my main complaint would be communication.

Perfect!
The cottage was perfection! We loved our stay and felt right at home. The location was awesome and we had everything we needed for our stay. Waking up and drinking our coffee while watching the lake was so peaceful. The only downside was that we couldn’t fully enjoy being on the lake (January in NE Ohio) but that only motivates us to want to return during the summer, so we will absolutely be back!

The house right on the Lake was absolutely beautiful. I can not think of one thing wrong with this house. Supplied with everything you would need. Beautiful gas fireplace. Many different board and card games. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. I can’t imagine how fun it would to be there in the summer. Thank you for sharing this 5 star home❤️❤️

There is nothing we could add to the long list of positive and enthusiastic reviews for "Sunset Cottage" already published on this site. The entire experience of booking and enjoying this lakefront property was a dream. Our only reservation is that further full-throated endorsements from us will only make it more difficult to book in the future. If your family or group is considering a trip to Geneva-on-the-Lake, you will be missing an extraordinary opportunity if you can't book your accommodations here. As our title says, this lakefront cottage is "exceptional!" These folks have been extremely thoughtful, meticulous, and attentive about providing the best hospitality possible. You won't want to leave - we didn't! (And be sure to make time to visit the landlord's nearby orchard, too! It's a bit of a drive, but the apples - and pies! - are great!)

Amazing Place To Stay
We loved everything about it. It was so clean and the view of the lake was amazing. Really enjoyed the chairs by the lake for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property
This was a great place to stay! The house was clean and had all the amenities you would need. The landscape was beautiful and well kept. It was right by all the attractions that GOTL has to offer but when you are in the house and out back you would never know that there was anything going on out front. Would not hesitate to book again.

Girls wine weekend.

Love, love, love this home! The Sunset Cottage is so warm and welcoming. My family and I had a wonderful pre-Christmas gathering weekend at this lovely home. Jen is an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. We are looking forward to many more visits.

The view of the lake is breath taking. We got lucky and had a few warm days.
Jen thought of everything, it was nice to have all the necessities such as TP, trash bags, etc. Jen’s kitchen was one of the best stocked that I have experienced. We would love to return in the Spring. Jen thanks for opening your home to us!!

When you walk into the cottage, the view of Lake Erie is simply amazing, Immaculate . Room that leads to outdoor deck especially is a fabulous place to sit to enjoy viewing the lake. Might want to consider putting in the listing that additional off street parking is available @ the park located immediately across the street , From our previous trips to GOTL, during the season, appears to be free on weekdays but not on weekends

Wish we could give Sunset Cottage at least 10 stars. Everything was wonderful. This is such a well cared for cottage and you can tell the owners sincerely care about the cottage and their renters experience. We love Lake Erie and go up pretty often but not overnight. We liked that this was a quiet time of the year and it was the perfect place for us.

The sunsets and views from this cottage are breathtaking. Everything you need is provided in this beautiful home. The three bedrooms and three full baths are a huge plus. Perfect location on the Strip. Have stayed twice with family and already booked for next year. Have never encountered any problems and any questions are answered promptly by Jen, the owner.

Gorgeous cottage! Peaceful and serene. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Fully-equipped with everything you'll need. Fabulous kitchen for the cooks. Very Nice Rental
This house is much larger than it looks from the front, and inside, it's been recently remodeled to perfection. Three bedrooms with full baths, the best kitchen (with all cooking pots, pans and supplies) we've ever had in a rental, and all this right on the lake. We had a small issue New Years Day and the owners responded quickly and made it right. Good location right on the strip, and being (mostly closed up) in December, we could still walk to a couple open bar/restaurants. In the summer, you'll have all the activities a very short walk away. Book here you won't be sorry.

Wonderful Girls Weekend!
This the second time I have rented this property and it did not disappoint! The house accommodated all of us with plenty of space so that we never felt crowded. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals. Jen even helped us find a personal chef to prepare dinner for us one evening!! I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to escape the hustle and bustle and just relax and enjoy the amazing views and sounds of Lake Erie!!

Great Escape on the Lake!
First time, and hopefully not the last time, visitor! What a great house. Big, roomy, clean, well decorated and just all round perfect. I just spent 5 nights here and enjoyed every minute of it. The view of the lake, the access to The Strip and the State Park couldn't have been any more convenient. The kitchen had everything we needed...and did I mention the views? Just amazing! Had the pleasure to see a few absolutely stunning sunsets from the deck. My only "negative" would be to say that as good as the pictures were on the website, they really do not do justice to just how great this house is. I look forward to coming back, hopefully many times!

Perfect cottage for a perfect getaway
The Sunset cottage was absolutely perfect in every way!! It was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with everything imaginable to prepare meals. The location right on the lake with the most gorgeous views and sunsets!! We had beautiful sunny days but a little chilly where we enjoyed using the cozy fireplace. This was definitely a home away from home for us!! We can’t wait to plan our next visit. Perfect Getaway!!
This cottage was incredibly clean and organized! The home was well stocked in the kitchen and had all the comforts of home!! The pictures do not do it justice! Located right on Lake Erie and the main strip of GOTL. Our host Jen gave us some outstanding recommendations for restaurants in the area and introduced us to a newer winery we hadn’t been to yet! We cannot wait to return!! This time of year is their off season at Geneva on The Lake, but we found the house so relaxing and the view breathtaking, that we stayed in and relaxed!!
