Coffee machine provided, but no coffee pods. Iron provided, no ironing board. Only 2 satchels of dishwasher powder. Access to the second bathroom was not allowed, which was inconvenient for visitors. No bathroom accessories such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash was not included. No extra towels and no face washers were included. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay. It was just the small details that let the property down. Comfy bed, clean sheets and a lovely space to relax and enjoy the area. 4 stars overall.

Guests can provide their pods to use the machine. The hotel offers coffee sachets during your stay.The second bedroom was locked because you booked a one-bedroom apartment. Please get in touch with reception if you would like to upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment.Unfortunately, we no longer provide face washers due to numerous problems with makeup marks. However, please get in touch with reception if you need any extra accessories during your stay, such as dishwasher powder or shampoo/conditioner. Apartment was great , all amenities were there . Only bug bear was the stairs from garage especially when staying on the top floors , luckily we didn’t have a lot of luggage

This was a great apartment to stay in with all the facilities you could want for a short or long term stay away from home. Beautiful and spacious, great balcony with beautiful breezes coming through. Super short walk to Kirra beach and in a very convenient location near so many shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend!

T&Cs state that it is expected guests keep rooms clean and left in a condition befitting the high standards of cleaning that is done by the staff. Whilst the room was surface level clean only, if you use more than one dish the next one had food crust, some lesser used items like the hairdryer hadn’t been cleaned in a long time which is important near the beach as things get sticky and found a chopping board that was mouldy. Disappointing for an apartment where you want to be able to use everything and you expect basic utensils to be clean. The furniture and rooms are clean and comfy and the balcony was good size. The pool and spa were nice features too. The location is great but wait until the construction is done. It’s far louder than they tell you it is. Also not a lot of staffed hours for when you need assistance.

Great location, pool and spa are amazing and the lady at check in was very polite. The rooms could be updated a bit, broken toilet brush, no dish cloths to clean with, one roll of toilet paper etc, little things could make a huge difference! Also had two different staff unlock our door thinking we were another room, didn’t knock either time.

The unit we occupied was freshly painted with a new kitchen. The couch was lumpy with springs protruding which made it extremely uncomfortable to use. The caretaker/manager was very pleasant and efficient. Would re book again.

Great Views and Close to the Esplanade
The hotel was easy to find and offered great views of the ocean. It also had a pool on site that the kids love with a heated spa. 2 minutes from the esplanade and plenty of restaurants and bars within the vicinity. The rooms/apartments were clean and tidy. However look like they need a little updating (not bad at all just needs TLC) although they had trades there during our stay paining the exterior so no doubt this will be next on the list. The trades did not impact our stay at all. Overall, we would probably stay here again if we were looking for a short term stay but anything more than a long weekend we would be tempted to find somewhere with a little more luxury.

In this case you have booked a Standard apartment. Our Deluxe apartments are much more modern with newer furnishings and are more freshly renovated. There were no services left. No tea; coffee; milk; toilet paper; shampoo or conditioner. Nice clean unit [on 3rd floor - 4 with car park access ] but would have liked warning of the steps! Then again I probably would not have booked it! Asked Management for it - but it did not arrive. For a 2 night stay I do not want to think about those items. Good location and lovely view.

Hi Julie, I am glad you enjoyed our location and view. Unfortunately the building was not built with lifts. Through expedia it is very limited on how we can advertise this detail to you to a point that we purposely have a photo of stairs to try and alert people to the fact. We also have it in our reservation confirmation and should it ever be an issue we would happily cancel your reservation free of charge. In regards to the lack of amenities, I truly apologise that they were not in your apartment. We do usually supply a starter pack to get guests through the first couple of nights as we also dont want guests having to worry about those supplies for a 2 night stay. Great family getaway in fantastic location
Family friendly apartment - great location 1 minute walk to the beach. Walking distance to Surf clubs, cafes, and shopping. Clean and tidy premises. Organised Easter egg hunt was awesome. Kids were happy with fast wifi connection. Highly recommended - will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay
we stayed here for only 3 nights and found it to be a great place to stay as it was across the road from the beach and kirra beach surf club and kirra beach hotel [ very good for meals ] and a ten min walk to Coolangatta shopping centre .The apartment was more than we needed and the kitchen was well stocked, The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable , the lounge room has air cond but the bedrooms only have ceiling fans which were adequate , we would definitely stay here again .The complex has both a pool & spa The only downside was that we were on the 3rd floor that needed about 5 flights of stairs to get to the unit .

For an older property it was in fairly good condition, painting was underway. The pool had some debris in it,spa was good. The outside toilet had no toilet paper for the three days we were there. The balcony security door lock was broken and the air conditioner would not work properly, mostly blew hot air.

great self contained apartment
We had a great holiday staying at Kirra Palms. The pool, spa and garden were a highlight for the kids. The apartment was roomy and clean with a great wee kitchen and dishwasher , perfect for a small family. Close to the beach with a snippet of a sea view and very sunny. Just around the corner form the madness of coolingatta. Would stay here again.

The apartment number 11 needed a lot of attention , it was not so clean it smelt dirty , the pool was dirty , the drawers in the main bedroom were broken some had no backs on the curtains in the bedroom did not completely fit the window and had holes, my husband and I both suffere lots of bites overnight whist sleeping in the bed. The couple who were on the reception were very friendly and welcoming, the WiFi was variable, said there was a DVD in the room but I did not find one , the cost of the u7 nights was high considering the poor standard of the apartment. We did try to find other accommodation within the area but were unable to locate anything nearby as we were visiting friends and did not want to be a car ride away from them ,had we found something we would have moved

Superb Location
Kirra Palms is perfectly located if you're after a trip to Kirra, Coolangatta, Rainbow Bay, Point Danger etc. It's only a 2 minute walk to the beach and just around the corner from the main Coolangatta strip. Your then not far by car from anything really along the gold coast, Byron Bay being only 50 minutes down the road, and Surfers Paradise only an 50 minutes up the road. The apartment is set back from the road so is nice and quiet and the pool is a decent enough size with a lovely hot tub which is available to use right up until night time. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. We did have ants coming in through one of the patio doors at the back which is almost expected considering the humidity at the time, but the guys were very helpful in sorting it out, and left us with a can of bug spray, after initially sorting it out, we didn't need to use it again and it wasn't a problem for the rest of our stay. The air con unit was new, as was the oven, grill etc. The guys in reception were very helpful and nothing was a problem. Overall, it couldn't have been much better for our stay and would highly recommend.

It was a really nice place to stay in a great location. The apartment was spacious and very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Looking forward to coming back again. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Nice hotel but too many stairs!
Pros- Nice and comfortable apartment. Good facilities. Close to the beach. Con - No elevator for the higher levels. Only stairs. Considering we had two small children, way too many stairs to go up and down to get to our car in the undercover parking. We were on the third level and so we had six flights of stairs. I would have rathered been on the first floor.

Loved our stay here.
Well appointed spacious apartment. Location to beach, restaurants and Coolangatta were excellent.One of the quietest places i have stayed in at Kirra, the bedrooms being at the back of the building meant no traffic noise.The only downside to this property was the lack of a elevator, which meant we had to carry luggage up 7 flights of stairs, and no air conditioner. This was not a problem at this time of year but could be in summer. All rooms had fans though.Overall we loved our stay at Kirra Palms and will stay there again.
