“We were given a room that backed on to road works that started at 8am there was a whole side of the hotel that didn’t, and it was very clear that these were not all occupied. There could also have been a fan in the room as it was very hot in the middle of the night, it was relatively cool compared to how the weather has been and so would have expected it to be in there rather than thinking we needed to go to reception at 3am.”
