We decide to stay at Molton, not York due to the relatively higher price of the York hotel and our trip plan. It proves to be a good choice. The property located in a small and quiet town with about 10-15 minutes walk to the railway station. It may look normal from outside but when you step in, you would be impressed by the warm and cozy atmosphere. The first floor is the restaurant and a bar, with so many selections. Overall great stay and highly recommended. Super easy to find and park. The room was clean, modern, and well presented. The owner even pre-reserved us a table for dinner, which was a welcome surprise since we were tired and extremely hungry. The food was amazing as well. All in all I would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable, well appointed room. Quite convenient to the York train station and reasonably close to the city center.

While planning our trip to the UK, my daughter and I wanted to either stay at a Manor house or Castle. Middlethorpe Hall was the perfect choice. It is several miles outside York, but less than 10 minutes by uber or taxi. The staff was gracious and solicitous. We arrived just in time for tea. The food was fantastic, generous, and the location in the the ball room facing the beautiful green lawn was exactly what we had hoped for. Our room was not in the main house, but in another building...

Attended a wedding here and stayed over night for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend! Breakfast was delicious and walking the grounds was peaceful and beautiful.

Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!

This was such a nice property and room! I felt so fancy here. The breakfast was great value and I loved having plates/microwave/fridge/utensils in the room too, made it easy to keep leftovers. Very close to the train, too. Would definitely stay again.

The Arms is a beautiful hotel, well maintained, in great shape, lovely staff and food and a nice room. The ONLY thing I would point out is that the tv channel options were limited and as my wife and I were fresh to the timezone it would have been nice to have some more channel choices when we couldn’t sleep.

Very convenient place to stay if visiting York. Two minute walk to the walled city. Nice, offstreet, parking at a very reasonable price. Staff couldn't be friendlier. Would definitely stay there again if we went back.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. Clean, cozy and thw bed is so comfortable. Definitely will be back here on my next trip to Harrogate.
