We opened the window but there were no screens. The carpet was very stained and likley the cause of the smell. It needs to be shampooed or replaced. I kept my socks on to walk around the room. The sheets were clean but the bedspreads were both stained with what looked like oil. Huge cobweb on the ceiling/wall that's been……

“Amazing stay at the base of Black mountain with rad amenities. Double hot tubs and sauna were incredible. Staff were wonderful. Super mellow vibes in a classic old school new England inn. Our room was on the smaller size, but with all the fun stuff to do between the on-site Shovel Handle Pub and literally being in the same parking lot as Black Mountain, you don't need to spend much time in there.
