"The coffee and pastry prices are a bit unusually expensive — almost ridiculously so. For example, a croissant at $17 is something I have never seen in my life. I find that a bit unreasonable. That said, the service is excellent and the place itself is wonderful. The concierge system, in my opinion, could benefit from some improvement to be a bit more efficient. Overall, it is a very beautiful hotel, and the staff are extremely kind — especially the ski staff, who are particularly lovely."

"You will see my cleanliness rating is low. This is not because the hotel is dirty, in fact it is clean of any dirt or bacteria. The problem is they use very strong industrial chemicals to clean and the smell in the rooms is overwhelming. It is very difficult to sleep at night and we had to keep the windows open in the middle of winter. The staff are very nice and do their best. But the showers sometimes do not work. The rooms are very small. No closets. Pillows and beds are very average. It is affordable but you do pay the price when it comes to comfort. "

"HGVC Whistler is really close to the Blackcomb gondola—only about five minutes walk to the gondola. I really appreciate the day pass that lets guests use the pool/locker room showers until 10pm, which means you can shower up après ski before leaving town."

"We have already spoken to Vacassa and are awaiting a partial refund. We have stayed at the Glacier Lodge probably 10 times and have always been happy. The room we were in was not acceptable. Between rat traps, ripped sheets, one roll of toilet paper for a week, extra fireplace left in a corner, 4 hangers etc. This room needs a huge renovation and some tlc. "

"I have stayed at the Fairmont in Banff twice and this property in Whistler did not disappoint either. The whole experience was absolutely seamless and I literally could not make one complaint. Every single staff member was an absolute pleasure to deal with and the facilities were excellent. The food and beverages on offer in all areas were some of the best i have had in Canada. I cannot wait to return!!!"

"We had an excellent stay. The house was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Very well stock kitchen ammenities.Great hot tub. The house had loads of family games as well to enjoy in the evenings - a great extra touch to make even more family friendly.Really great stay!"
