"The hitching post is a great little motel. Its clean, quiet and well maintained for a older building. The rooms have everuthing u need. if you are checking in after 9pm, there is noone at the desk. so u get a locl box to find your key! A hot tub would be a great addition! or a badminton net or something to do on the property in summer. Close to pemberton and a great thai restaurant. I like the hitching post!"

"Cleanliness was reasonably good, the furniture does seem to be a little worn and in need of an upgrade, the sliding glass door to the bedroom closet was broken and off the track, the pillows were hard. The kitchen was functional and well-equipped. We were right next to the entrance so sometimes it got a little noisy. We did have fantastic weather and really enjoyed our time at Whistler."

"We found the location within the village to be excellent. It overlooks the Olympic Plaza and kids playground and has great mountain views as well. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Apart from coffee in the morning, we ate out for every meal so I can't speak for all the cookware etc but it did look to have everything. Granted things are a little dated but this is what we expected based on the pictures and knowing it is a ski resort. Checking in was easy, I took advantage of the 15 minute check-in parking spots outside Deer Lodge and walked to the reception down to the left. Parking is a bit tight and I was glad we rented a sedan and not an SUV but it is still manageable."

"The staff were friendly and helpful with all inquires . The unit was clean and comfortable, but there was no air conditioning. The exterior of the building was an under construction due to renovations. Large white tarp was my view from the unit and balcony. Plywood planks in entry of main entrance. No ice machines on site. Parking was very reasonable ($25/night) for Whistler."

"The place is big enough for a family with a kid. It has two floors with comfy beds and TVs for late night stay. Hot tub is place on the upper floor patio, that is looking towards outdoor pool. The whole complex is very well maintained and also quiet, which allows you to rest even during the day. I love the position of this complex as it is on a walking/bike trail towards the Lost Lake as well as across the street from the Whistler Olympic village."
