Great house in a great location

This was a girls weekend for a group of retired teachers. The house was beautiful and located directly on the lake. The owners contacted us to let us know they had heard about wasp so they sent someone to take care of it. They were never a problem for us. The house had everything that we needed plus some and I would definitely stay again if in the area.

Fabulous Lakefront Stay

Had a wonderful few days at this amazing waterfront lake house!!! The house is awesome and the steps lead right down to the dock. The steps might be a little steep for someone with a disability. The house is well stocked in the kitchen and has fishing gear as well. The canoe on the site was a lot of fun. Sherry the host was amazing and so helpful!! Great place for a family lake trip and some good R&R!

Was not clean. Needs work. Patio wood falling apart, probably full of termites. One post holding up roof and banister rotted. All outside wood rotting. Outside grounds needs help. Hornets constantly swamping patio. Faucets in bathrooms all brass coming off. No stoppers in main bathroom sinks. Took sheets off master bed and mattress dirty. Overall home needs repair and deep cleaning. Would never stay there again. Could be a beautiful location if taken care of.

Amazingly Peaceful!

This was a wonderful property to just relax and disconnect from the world. The home was wonderfully appointed. The location was ideal. The view from the house, porch, yard, and the dock, they we’re all so wonderful! We never saw or heard another soul while we were there. The owners provide fishing equipment and a canoe if you are so inclined to use them. We would definitely come back and rent this home again.

Great Granbury Getaway

The place was a quiet getaway. Fully stocked- all we had to bring was our food which we picked up by placing an order with a nearby neighborhood. The private dock came with access to a canoe. The views on the porches and dock were superb. I have no bad to say and will mostly likely to return.

Great little getaway

Overall our stay was great! The only complaint we had was that there were a number of lightbulbs that were out and the master bath had a few loose fixtures (sink, toilet paper roll, & towel holder). Made me nervous to “break” them. Also there were Mandy Cobb Webbs on the porch and dock, maybe as if we had been the first guests of the season. Could have used some TLC. The kitchen was well stocked & beds were comfy! Owner was helpful!

AMAZING

This is absolutely the place to stay for peace, rest and scenery! The house is very large, very clean and very well stocked. We mostly sat on the dock and/or back patio and watched the birds and the boats. What a wonderful place! We will return!

Quiet comfortable lakeside retreat

This house is in a great location with lake access and not far from downtown Granbury as well as on the highway leading to Glenrose. Outside, the highway traffic was loud, but you don't hear it as much inside. Some of the decor is a bit dated, but the beds were comfortable and the house is well stocked with plenty of extra linens and the pantry and fridge had extra groceries, spices and condiments. The complimentary trail mix was a nice surprise (also the wine - but we don't drink). We enjoyed the fireplace and the boat dock. We had a little trouble getting the tv to work at first, but after texting the host, he called us and we got it working. The garage door opener was missing and the front door digital lock was a bit confusing at first. There were multiple light switches and it was difficult to know what lights they operated. There were several light bulbs out in the house. The front porch light was out so it was dark when we got back at night. Also, people should be aware that the jetted tub only has hot water. The cold water faucet did not work. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great place on the lake!

This was the perfect place for 3 long time friends to get together. The view from the back patio of the lake was wonderful, we ate breakfast out the each morning. The kitchen table was the perfect spot for many hours of playing May Jongg. The location was great, on the lake and very close to the downtown square.

Beautiful lakeside property

We loved our stay. I took my 82 year old mom to visit family. The property we originally booked cancelled the day before we were staying due to an unforeseen problem. I panicked then got online and the host glacially booked us very quickly. House is exactly as pictured. Deck is over the lake. Beautiful morning views. Very clean property. Was not sure if mom could handle the stairs getting in the property but there is a very sturdy railing and very wide steps. Also anyone who furnished with Red Raider coasters has to be awesome!! Guns up Texas Tech! First trip to Granbury- loved it. We dined at Christina's one evening - highly recommend! Loved our stay! Thanks!

Relaxing

Property is peace. Water has very minimal traffic and most of what is around this area is canoes or kayaks. Easy to find and located minutes from the square.

Great property, location and manager - five star!

We had a great weekend at this lovely home and Sherry was awesome! The lake is beautiful from the dock, especially at night, and enjoyed watching the geese, ducks and other birds. Even caught a nice bass and some catfish. Have already recommended the property to friends. Thanks again Sherry!

Wonderful Weekend Stay

We enjoyed our stay and was impressed with the little touches left from the hosts, Sherry and Don. Even when we had some issues with the using the key code, they were very responsive and even came over to make sure we would not have any further issues. With 6 adults in our group, we enjoyed the space and we all felt comfortable with the size to enjoy visiting with each other both inside and out.

A Lot of Privacy on the Back Porch and Boat Dock

Our favorite features of this VRBO were the boat dock (spectacular sunset views), the variety of backyard seating areas, the animals (bring binoculars to see the birds play, the fish jump and the turtles splash), and the lazy-boy couch in front of the indoor fireplace was a great way to end the day. The location made excursions to local attractions very easy. The property was clean and comfortable and represented well in the VRBO photos. The owners were very gracious hosts in every way and let us arrive 3 hours early. We had a great weekend at this lakeside VRBO!
