The room was dirty I have pictures but can't upload there was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom the air vents were dusty and the furniture is falling apart. For 225 I'd expect more spent the next night at the Drury down the road paid less for a nicer place

We reserved the family sweet, week in advance. When we got there it was not avalible. They did give us adjoining rooms for the price of a single, which was nice, but i had kids in a room by themselves. The hot tub was broken and I had to go to the front desk twice to ask them to open the pool when it was suposed to be open. They did turn the slide on just for us becuse of this.

Please increase the security at this location - your staff and guests deserve more. We have stayed at this location in the past and appreciated the pool (with fun slide for the kids), the convenient location and the staff was/is amazing. We were in town again this weekend (3/3/22-3/5/22) and there was a homicide on Saturday evening. Since then, we learned that there was a shooting in the parking lot the week prior. Fortunately, we were not in the hotel at the time of the shooting; we learned of it from family who arrived at the hotel to check-in and were advised that their reservation was being cancelled (much appreciated). For us, it was unclear when we would be able to get our things from our room and it was advised that we stay somewhere else for the night. I want to make it very clear that the staff did an amazing job. My interactions with them were nothing but positive. They experienced a traumatic event and even if they weren't there when the shooting happened, they were still expected to be at work and serve their guests. When I went back to collect our things and check out on Sunday morning, the staff was professional but you could tell that they were shook. My hope is that the Marriott is providing support for their employees to process their grief and give them time to process what they experienced. And I also hope the same for guests who may have been affected by the tragedy. This location needs security improvements, for sure.

We booked the hotel for the pool and price. When we arrived we found out the pool was closed. We had to switch hotels and spend 3x as much.
