Worst room layout we have EVER had! Nothing made sense, bright lights, sink was completely removed from toilet, unnecessary “counter” near bed and a lounge chair that was inaccessible. If you want to wash your hands after using the bathroom you have to turn on bright lights disturbing anyone sleeping! Ridiculous!

Decided to stay here after needing a place just for the night. After checking Air B&B and the other hotels in the area this was the cheapest without being rundown. I’m glad I stayed here as it’s conveniently located to downtown, the bed was very comfortable and we despite not asking for it we were given a handicap-able room which was nice and roomy. This will be my go to stay going forward.

The receptionists failed to notify me/us that the hotel would be largely inaccessible on the evening of my stay, Saturday, July 6, because of the fireworks. I protested this failure to the night manager who brushed me off, saying that she would report the matter to her supervisor who would call me on Monday. The supervisor has not done so. The failure is easily resolved: post a notice on the front desk that is easily seen by all registering. The young woman who registered me was very pleasant,helpful and competent. This is a management failture, not a single-employee failure.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. Eooms were clean and spacious. I loved the bikes we could "check out" free of charge. The hotel is within a walkable distance to most of downtown. Ot was also wonderful having the hotel shuttle availabe for our group events. I will most definitely stay again the next time i have an event in Grand Rapids

Staff was great. Even sent up a white noise machine to try and battle the loudness. The noise was crazy the 1st night. Thanks to the rain the 2nd was better. Location isn't bad due to just being across the river from downtown. Red head female housekeeping gold star! Very helpful! Wish I caught her name. Bathroom small.
