This superb ground-floor apartment offers stunning views across the fields from either the bedroom or living space, as well as from the outside terrace. It is located just 8 miles from Stamford in the quiet village of Castle Bytham, which has two pubs as well as a café and a shop to enjoy all within a short walk. There are excellent walks from the door, as well as cycle routes, throughout the area.
Stamford, home of the world-famous Burghley Horse Trials, is ideal for a day out with many good restaurants, tea rooms and superb shopping along with a park next to the river to sit back and enjoy the view of this famous town. Burghley House is a National Trust venue where you can also walk or cycle through the deer park, jump on a train into London (just an hour away) or travel less than half an hour to Rutland Water where you can hire bikes and cycle around the lake. Shop, café and pubs ½ mile.

The Water Shed was very comfortable and well equipped. It was situated in a pretty location on the owner’s property. Our host was very friendly and helpful. It was the perfect cottage to relax and “chill out”
