Nice hotel, owners are very friendly and nice. The only thing we didn’t like is that the AC was weak and internet too. But overall it was a pleasant stay. Will do it again.

Caravel Apts Ixia
Enjoyable stay. Very basic kitchen facilities so we ate out all the time. No sink plug so couldn't wash up. No draining board. Kettle wouldn't switch off after boiling. Said it was 2 bedroom apartment but only 1 bedroom with 2 rock hard single beds in the living area/kitchen. My son had no privacy. Other than that all was good. Aircon and safe in room. Luggage storage good.

Comfortable apartment, close to the sea front.
A family run aparthotel and what a delightful family they were. We were made very welcome. The apartment benefits from a small kitchen with a twin electric hob. Also we had a kettle and a teapot! We had 2 small balconies, with a sea view and air conditioning. Free wifi was available throughout. There was also a good sized pool and the attached restaurant served very nice food, beer and wine at excellent prices. Hotel residents even get a 10% reduction. A selection of shops, bars and restaurants are a few steps away from the hotel. For those who like walking you can reach Rhodes town in about an hour and a visit to the old town is a must. You can also get a bus or taxi at reasonable prices.

Good value economy hotel
20 minutes from airport and 10 minutes by bus from Rhodes Town. Rooms and beds are comfortable and serviceable. Beach across the very busy main road is stony but sandy once you are in.

Excellent no frills apartment hotel
Excellent friendly apartment. The owners were lovely. Basic one bed apartment with small kitchenette. But that was all we needed for our stay. The staff at the hotel and adjoining coconut restaurant went out of their way to make us feel at home.

Small comfortable hotel
After a very warm welcome by Nita the owner we were surprised at the large size of the room in the self catering section. It was cleaned regularly and clean towels given daily. There is a small pool with a nice private area to enjoy the sun. The attached Coconut restaurant has tasty food with a wide variety especially suitable for children at a good price including a 10% discount for hotel patrons. - thanks to Christos, Status and others who were excellent staff in the restaurant.

Overnight stay
We booked this hotel as we was staying down in Lindos for a week, but we wanted a night in the old town of Rhodes as we love it. We chose this as it was reasonably priced for what we wanted and close to the bars we have used many times in the past. We was pleasantly surprised, our room was large overlooking the pool away from the road and was very comfortable, very well equipped for an apartment. We would stay again if we visited for one night..

Only stayed 1 night as it was a stop Over on the way to Symi. Friendly staff, quiet and clean. We booked a family room and the only negative would be the single beds were very hard.

Lovely family run hotel, couldn't recommend more
From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the 'family' couldn't do enough for us. Incredibly friendly, always chatted to us on arriving or leaving. The apartment itself was large, comfortable, clean (cleaned daily) plenty of balcony space. Accessible to beach, shops, bars. Really couldn't fault it at all. Highly recommend here and the Coconut Restaurant too which is also run by the same family

All and all it was a really nice experience except - dont for the love of your money and nerves: rent a moto or anything else thru theyre partner (Worst people in the island). But people in the reception were very lovely and the location was great.

Very friendly, older couple who managed the hotel were very helpful. Coconut restaurant in front of the apt\hotel served wonderful food. Pool was nice.great location and bus into Old Rhodes town worked well.

Lovely staff
Such a lovely welcome. The staff here are fantastic. Nita is lovely. I got to check out the great Coconut restaurant attached to the hotel. I arrived very late after working and they didn't make me feel uncomfortable about keeping them late! Food was great and again, fantastic service. My only problem was the internet. Maybe it was where my room was but as I was away on business, it was really important to me and it wasn't great. Would still recommend the hotel to anyone. Enjoy :)

The Caravel
Our rooms had a seaview (one bed apartment). While the furnishings were less than luxurious, it suited our needs perfectly. We spent very little time at the hotel because we came to sightsee, not to lounge around. Since we were here at the end of the season, I could see how parking might be an issue if we had been here midseason. The friendliness of the staff/management made up for any shortcomings the hotel might have, and the restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful! I would definitely stay there again.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Caravel for a week and I have to say the experience was great. The staff is very nice, always available, extremely helpful and they make sure you feel at home. The rooms are tidy and clean. Small kitchenette, a living room area, bedroom and bathroom + a balcony (the one we had at least was this way). There is a small pool in the back where you can stay if you have kids or don't like the cold water of Ixia. The hotel is on the main road of Ixia and very close to Rhodes or the airport. You can reach both by bus or taxi quiet easily. The beach is basically right in front of the hotel, and you can walk about 5 mins to reach one of the main places for windsurf if you like. It was a pleasant experience.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and inviting. The hotel and room were very clean with secure and free wifi available. They were very responsive and wanted to do everything possible to ensure that our stay was great, and it was. Definitely eat at their restaurant at the hotel as well, it was fantastic!

Hotellin ravintolan ruoka oli maukasta ja annokset olivat isoja sekä monipuolisia. Ravintolan palvelut toimivat myös allas alueella. Kaikin puolin erittäin miellyttävä kokemus, tulemme toistekkin.

Skønt Hotel med fin pool
Vi boede på Caravel og nød hvert minut. Stort værelse med køkken og aircon, og udsigt til poolen. Personalet er enormt flinke og hjælpsomme. Hvis Mette Mink, Lille Gretha T og Stygge C. Schwab giver os lov, tager vi afsted til næste år igen.

Ett fantastiskt familjehotell med en trevlig pool och en underbar restaurang. Detta hotellet bor jag gärna på fler gånger. Vi hyrde en stor lägenhet och fixade frukost själva...två balkonger och rent. Tog ca 15 minuter med buss till Rhodos stad och lika lång tid på andra hållet till flygplatsen. Restaurangen får ett extra stort plus för sin fantastiska personal....

Er hotel lige til vores behov
Fint basis hotel med en virkelig god restaurant til frokost og middag. Morgenmaden som var inkluderet car ok standard, brød, pålæg, græsk yoghurt,spejlæg, bacon, pølser og frisk frugt. Man kan mod depositum låne pool/strandhåndklæder. Der er god stemning blandt de ansatte og man mærker tydeligt at det er et mindre familie drevet hotel. Vil anbefale hotellet til andre.

Goede plek voor redelijke prijs
Prima plek qua prijs in Ixia. We hadden 4persoonsappartement op begane grond. Met eigen terras met tafel en stoelen. Vlakbij zwembadje van hotel. Zwembadje niet groot, maar toch lekker. Zowel woonkamer (met 2 1 persoonsbedden) als slaapkamer (met prima 2persoonsbed) hadden goede airco en kleine t.v. Keukentje klein en weinig gerei maar okay. Badkamer goed met lekkere douche. Steeds nieuwe handdoeken en snelle schoonmaak (alleen op zondag niet). Aardige mensen. Fijne locatie. Dicht bij strand en bij meerdere (gratis) zwembadbarren (eentje aan het strand schuin links tegenover, eentje bij Sunny Days (Daar in hotel van SD zit ook een goedkope autoverhuur). Winkels, restaurants en strand met ligbedden en parasols allemaal vlakbij. Taxi's naar Rhodos stad voor een tientje. Minpuntje: tafel en stoelen in woonkamer klein en niet comfortabel (we pakten de plastic stoelen van buiten er maar bij). En zwembad sluit vroeg in de avond (19 uur), zou best tot 21 uur kunnen.

ho soggiornato presso l'hotel alla fine di agosto 2017.In 4 persone ,io,mia moglie e le mie due figlie teenagers.Posizione comoda ,pulito, personale estremamente cortese. Il ristorante annesso, oltre ad una abbondante colazione, offre pranzo e cena ottimi a prezzi convenzionati. Ottima esperienza,lo consiglio e nel caso dovessi tornare a Rodi sicuramente quella sarà la mia base.

Ihana pikku huoneistohotelli! Tilavat huoneet, mukava sänky, pikku keittonurkkaus. Ainoa miinus ehkä meidän parvekkeen näköalat, mutta kyllä siinä yhden jos toisenkin olusen joi! :D Ei mitään pahaa sanottavaa. Matkamme oli juuri sellainen mitä toivottiin!
